That girl was intriguing me with every word she spoke. She said she was a siren which was impossible but when she showed me her black wings, I couldn't help but accept the truth. Though, that could have been an illusion but her heart didn't stutter when she was talking so she was lying. Her scent also proved that. She smelled of the ocean and love but there was something under all of that. That something was why I went to visit her but the only thing I got was her name. I felt strangely protected of the girl with her wavy white hair and the broken look in her eyes which is why I probably warned her of the hunters instead of forcing her to tell me what she was hiding under her siren scent.

As I ran off into the night, I realized that the hunters were out hunting the omega that came here. I growled before sprinting faster through the woods after I also caught Scott's scent. He was going to get himself killed if he tried to help the omega. As I get to the two wolves, I see the omega land in the hunter's trap before I could stop both of them. I grab Scott by the shoulder and toss him to the side before dragging his ass away from the omega before the hunters could spot us. But being the annoying pain in the ass he was, he continued to struggle instead of just making life easy and allowing for me to save his ass. I hide us behind a tree still holding him to my chest so he wouldn't just run toward the omega and get himself killed in the process.

"What are you doing? I can help him!" Scott shouted still struggling against me.

"They're already here." I snap.

"I can help him!" He continued almost with a pathetic whine.

"Quiet!" I growl into his ear as I see the hunters approaching the omega. Finally, the pup stops struggling as he sees the hunters show up but I knew what was going to happen and he was going to struggle again so I kept my hold on him. I look out to the scene in front of me just in time to see Chris Argent shocking the wolf with his stick causing the wolf to shift back to his human side. The only good thing about that was that Scott fully stilled at that.

"Who are you?" Chris asks once the omega stops screaming. When he doesn't answer, he adds, "What are you doing here?"

"Nothing. Nothing, I swear." The omega said quickly.

"You're not from here, are you?" Chris continued before repeating it into a shout when he didn't respond fast enough, "Are you?"

"No. No, I came...I came looking for the Alpha. I heard he was here. That's all." The omega said before adding, "Look, I didn't do anything. I didn't hurt anyone. No one living. He wasn't alive in the ambulance. He wasn't, I swear."

"Gentlemen!" Another hunter said stepping forward. He was older and had a familiar scent which made me believe that he was part of the Argent family, "Take a look at a rare sight! You wanna tell them what we've caught?" He directed the last part at Chris.

"An Omega." He states.

"The lone wolf!" The older hunter clarifies, "Possibly kicked out of his own pack, or the survivor of a pack that was hunted down, maybe even murdered... and possibly alone by his own choice...certainly not a wise choice..." He turns to grab a sword that he had laying in a case close by, "Because, as I am about to demonstrate... an Omega rarely survives on his own." The hunter slashes his sword at the middle of the wolves body cutting him in half. Scott begins to struggle again but it was more to escape the horror than rescue him. I still held him because I wanted him to see what his precious girlfriend's family is capable of.

"Look. Look. Look at them! You see what they do? This is why you need me-- why we need each other. The only way to fight them is together." I growl softly into his ear.

"What are they doing?" Scott asks horrified. "Declaring war." I state matter-of-factly as I watch angrily at the group.

"We have a Code." Chris says angry.
