Following my chat with Derek, I was expecting to get a house call from the hunters since from what I gathered, he was being watched or the hunters, who felt the power that radiated off of me, just wanted to see if I was a supernatural creature. It took a couple of days but the hunters did eventually show up.
It was Sunday and I was sitting in my kitchen at my island working on my huge pile of homework when I heard a knock on my door. I sighed before draining the nectar that I was drinking before walking to the door. Without looking through the peephole, I open the door and saw a group of men standing at the door all dressed in black. I didn't miss the guns hidden under their shirts and jackets.
"Good evening, Atlantia. May we come in?" This older gentleman asked who looked to be the leader of the group. Figuring they would try to force their way in no matter what and I didn't want to have any of the kids in this neighborhood see who I was, I just let them in. Silently, I held the door open wider before walking into my home. The men followed me before shutting the door and staring at me as I entered my kitchen. I lean on my island next to my homework staring at the men.
"So, you liking Beacon Hills?" The older gentleman asked as his men looked around the room.
"It's an interesting place." I say watching the men carefully especially when one of the men get close to my memorial room that I had accidently left the door open to. "I've had some interesting welcome parties."
"I bet. I heard you got a welcoming from Derek Hale." The man says walking toward the fridge and grabbing a soda from the fridge.
"And who are you?" I ask ignoring that statement.
"Gerard Argent," Gerard says taking a sip from the bottle of soda he grabbed, "I'm guessing Derek told you hunters live here."
"Yeah," I admit, "He warned me about that."
"Sir," One of the men said gesturing to my memorial room. Gerard smiles at me before walking toward the room. Quickly, I follow them not wanting them to damage anything in there. When Gerard stepped into the room, he looked surprised by it. Behind each item I had in here, was a picture of who it belonged to with my favorite memory of them playing right below it. Gerard lifts up Thalia's shield and holds it in his hands.
"Put that down." I grit through my teeth. Gerard turns to me with the shield in his hands.
"This means something to you." Gerard looks around the room, "All of this means something to you." He turns to one of the men closest to him, "Chris, what do you think these memorials mean?"
"They were my family." I say stomping over to Gerard and grabbing the shield from him and placing it back where it belongs, "The only ones who understood the pain I go through everyday." I turn around to look at Gerard, "They died protecting this world so don't use them against me because I swear on the River Styx that you will regret it." Thunder boomed in the sky making the hunters look at me curiously.
"River Styx? Isn't that Greek Mythology?" Chris asks looking at Gerard.
"Yeah, it is." I say before summoning a staff because I just wanted to go to bed but I couldn't until I got rid of the hunters and I changed the enchantment around my home to prevent humans from entering unless I want them here.
"So, you're a witch?" Gerard says taking out his gun.
"No, I'm the daughter of every Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Norse god and goddess with my birth mother a siren." Figuring they would find out what I was eventually, I move my staff into a defensive position. "So, I'm only going to ask you once, please leave and don't bother me ever again." Gerard just laughs before firing his gun at me but I just hold out my hand stopping the bullet in mid-air before crushing it. I sigh before pushing my hands outwards sending the hunters flying out into the middle of my kitchen. None of the memorials were disturbed so I walked out of the room before shutting the door and staring at the hunters who were pushing themselves back up to their feet.
