"We haven't seen this kid in years," I hiss at Scott as we walk into the school. Atlantia looked a little lost in her thoughts as we walked, but that was normal now so I didn't think about it. Instead, I decided to focus my attention on the wolfed-out kid that just popped into our life again. "You don't find that highly suspicious?"

"I'm kind of more concerned about the guy who just tried to kill me." Scott points out.

"I don't trust Theo," Atlantia says. I turned to look at her and noticed her looking into the crowd where Theo must have been, but I couldn't see him. "I feel...I feel something dark in him."

"Dark?" I question since I have never heard her speak like that before, "What do you mean you feel something dark about him?"

"In him," Atlantia corrects, "I don't know. There is something out there. I don't know what, but there is something that is not supernatural but is."

"That does not make any sense." Malia points out, saying what everyone was thinking.

"Before you picked me up, Stiles, something broke into my house." Atlantia sighs, "I might just be weaker, but it was a supernatural creature though my shields keep them out."

"Supernatural, but not supernatural," Scott says.

Atlantia nods, "I might have broken the supernatural world by destroying the Fates and I take the blame for that but I can't help shaking the feeling that there is something else." Before anyone could say anything, a phone dings. Everyone's eyes turned to Malia who looks at her phone before her eyes jerk up to look at us in surprise.

"I'm in." She says stunned. I was confused until she says, "I passed. I'm officially a senior." I smile and wrap my arms around her in a hug. It felt like a moment of normalcy and everyone took the out to let the topic fall especially as we hear Lydia shouting at us.

"Thank God!" Lydia shouts as she stalks toward us with Allison and Isaac right behind her. "Where have you guys been? The whole senior class is here! Are we doing this or not?" Everyone looks at each other before shrugging. I wrap my arms around Malia as I see everyone else pair up except for Atlantia. It saddened me because I realized that Atlantia has lost the one person that she cared for with her entire heart. Sure she loved us and would do anything to make sure we survived, but Derek was different.

He was the one who was there after she almost kills herself to save her family

He was the one who treated her like she wasn't broken.

He was the one who loved her.

Derek was gone but, her family, us, were still there. That is why I reached out my arm and pulled her in on my other side. Malia looked at me curiously, but I think she smelled my emotions because she gives me a satisfied nod.

Senior scribe was honestly a lot more emotional than I thought it would be. As I stepped up to write my initials, I noticed a familiar initial in familiar handwriting. Derek Hale had written his right there and he was gone. I glance at Atlantia who was going to write after me. It felt right to make sure that she could write her initials next to his so I made sure I left plenty of space for her to forever be remembered with him. I hand her the marker and I could see the tears falling when she saw his initials.

Atlantia had disappeared immediately after writing her initials and based on the looks of every shifter that joined our little group to watch everyone write their initials, she needed a moment alone. Based on everyone's mood, they knew how hard this was for Atlantia. She was repairing her heart to love again after losing her family and Derek was the one welding the pieces together but now, with him gone, I don't think she knows how to repair it again.
