I didn't know what was going on in my life right now. Firstly, I had a sixteen-year-old girlfriend who is the target of a group of Alphas and was forcing herself to go to school when her whole body was covered with healing wounds. Then I had my little sister now living with me in my apartment who was constantly not listening to me and always budding in on my relationship and the Alpha problem but mostly my relationship. She always wanted to tag along when I went to pick up Atlantia from school since the Alpha twins were students at Beacon Hills High School and I wanted to make sure they didn't jump her in the parking lot even though she was leaving early due to her injuries but I forced Cora to stay home since she needed to rest. It also gave me a chance to spend time alone with Atlantia.

"I think my English teacher hates me." Atlantia says when she slides into my car. I raise an eyebrow at that statement. Atlantia is not known to complain so that surprised me, "At first I thought it was because I missed the first month and I have to leave early so she had to give me my work separately but then now she is starting to grade me weirdly on my assignments." She sighs, "I don't really care if she likes me but it's just annoying. I still have good grades so it's not that bad of a thing."

"What's her name? I might know her from when I was there." I say as I turn out of the parking lot of the school.

"Ms. Jennifer Blake." Atlantia says, "But I doubt you know her. She's the brand new English teacher."

"Never heard of her." I shrug. We continue to talk about random stuff as we approach her house. It might have been an unconscious decision but we stayed away from the topic of the Alpha pack until we got outside of her house.

"I'll be outside your house, tomorrow at the same time as always." I tell Atlantia as I park the car.

"You know, you don't have to be my personal driver." She says softly, "I can drive..."

"With your back aching with every tiny movement you take?" I scoff before saying softly, "Just let me drive you, Atlantia. I don't mind and I need to make sure you are safe."

"Ok," Atlantia relents. She leans over and gives me a small kiss on the lips before saying goodbye and sliding out of the car. I watch her step into her house protected from the Alphas before I drive off back to my apartment. When I step inside of the apartment, I was expecting to be greeted with an empty main room but my sister decided that it would be a good idea to be training instead of laying in bed and healing.

"Stop," I order her as I walk into my apartment. I toss my keys onto my desk before walking over to her. "You're not done healing."

"Yeah?" Cora said continuing pull herself above the pipe that she was using as a pull-up bar, "Well, I'm done lying around."

"Then sit." I say annoyed, "You and Atlantia are going to be the death of me with your attitudes on healing."

Cora drops down to the ground and immediately begins to do pushups. "Are you gonna help me go after them?" I roll my eyes as I took a few steps toward her and gently kick out her hand so she would drop to the ground. She falls on her back and looks up at me angry before she jumps to her feet and begins to throw punches at me. I easily block them but I don't give her the fight that she wants.

"Come on!" Cora shouts at me, "Fight back!" She stops her attacks and just stares at me with a hurt look on her face.

"I came back for this?" She scoffs at me, "I can't believe I got my ass thrown in a vault for three months for you! All those rumors I heard...A powerful new Alpha, one of the Hales! Building a pack with a siren by his side. Do you know how long I waited to hear something like that? Do you have any idea how it felt to find out you were alive?"
