"Why do you want an alliance?" Derek asked raising any eyebrow, "When we last talked, you wanted nothing to do with werewolves."

"That was before the hunters paid me a visit." I tell him, "I can handle the hunters but I rather not do it alone. I know it's not smart to fight alone. Believe me. I've always fought in a team and I know it is better to fight with a team you trust alone so yeah, I want an alliance to make sure I don't get killed or worse captured and tortured." Derek looked at me with a curious gaze but he knew I wasn't lying on anything I was saying even if I was omitting some of my history. I don't want to explain what happened to the last team I had.

"Would an alliance mean we would help you kill the hunters?" Scott asks hugging Allison closer to his side. I met Allison's eyes and I knew what she was thinking. She was wondering if I would kill her family.

"If it comes to that." I admit. "But I rather not kill unless they try to kill me."

"Then I'm not going to be a part of the alliance." Scott says firmly and I knew why so I just give him a nod with Stiles quickly agreeing with his best friend since I knew he was more Scott's friend then Derek.

"My pack will accept your alliance." Derek says reaching his hand out to mine. I take his hand and at the same time release one of my claws and cutting his wrist as he does the same to me. Our blood mixes and I whisper a couple of words under my breath and a golden glow explodes over us. "My pack is just Isaac and me but we are slowly growing." I wasn't surprised to hear that Scott wasn't a part of his pack based on the silent body language the two were exhibiting.

"Two is better then none so I will take what I will get. Do you need a ride home?" I asked but Derek just shook his head as he beckons for Isaac to follow him before disappearing into the night. I smile before nodding toward the three teens behind me and fading into the shadows of the night.

I was really upset that it was only Tuesday since it felt weird facing Allison in our friend group the following day when she knew that I had created an alliance that could lead to the deaths of her parents but she pushed it away for Lydia's sake. It worked for me because I didn't want to deal with creating an explanation for why there was tension between us. The day didn't seem to be a problem and that night there was no problems with the hunters though I didn't miss the spy they placed on my street sitting in the black sedan a couple of houses down. It bothered me to see that Gerard wasn't kidding around with trying to kill me so I was on guard the entire time at school since he became the principal on Tuesday after the old one quit. Somehow I don't think it was a coincidence that it happened so soon after my talk with him. It was why I was glad when gym class revealed we were doing rock climbing because I wanted to train but I was sort of disappointed to not see lava going down the wall like we had at Camp Half-Blood.

There was only room for two on the wall at a time so the rest of us had to wait around as the others climbed which is why I was on the ground doing a plank because I was going to use the time wisely. Some of the lacrosse team joined me most likely to try to impress me since according to Lydia, I was now the most sought out girl in the school. I wasn't searching for a boyfriend although Aphrodite kept dropping messages in my room about who she deemed cute enough for me to date. Eventually I was startled out of my plank with Coach yelling at me and Danny to get up the wall. Without grabbing the harness from the previous teen, I just jumped straight onto the wall and climbed with ease. It was a lot easier to climb without lava falling down upon you. By the time Danny had just began to climb, I had reached the top and after judging that I could just jump off, I push myself off with a flip and land on the mat in a crouch.

"Can I continue planking?" I say to Coach who was staring at me in shock but he broke out of it with my question.

"You want to explain why you went on the wall without a harness and decided to jump from the top with a flip?" He asks in his 'I know you're stupid but I want to see your reasoning behind it' tone.
