There were two thoughts running through my head. One, there was no way that Kate was behind this note. In her new state, she would have no ability to break through my barriers. Two, if it wasn't Kate, then it was someone from my demigod life and I killed everyone who could hurt me or anyone I cared for. Obviously it had to be someone but I didn't know who.
I don't mention it to Scott when he comes to my house asking me to accompany him to talk to Peter. I wasn't even sure if we were in any danger yet from the person who left the note in my home. If it is something or someone from my past, I know sometimes it can take weeks, months or even years before they do something. When I figure out who broke into my home, I will let everyone know but until then, I am going to keep it quiet.
Anyway, Scott informed me that Derek was at his house with Stiles and he needed to speak to Peter to ask him his advice since he is the only one at the moment who may know how to fix Derek or information on why Kate aged him to a teenager. Scott drove me to Derek and Peter's loft on his bike and I was surprised to see Malia standing there and apparently, so was Scott.
"What are you doing here?" Scott asks her.
"I heard you were coming to talk to Peter. And since Lydia tells me he's basically Satin in a v-neck, I figured you shouldn't be alone." Malia says, "But it looks like you already thought of that."
"We can handle Peter." Scott says looking at her like he expected her to leave.
"Well, you two can handle him better with me." Malia says as she walks past Scott to enter the building. Scott looks at me for help but I shrug since I didn't care about the issue that Scott and Stiles had with keeping Malia's father a secret. It was their problem and I wasn't going to help them. We enter the apartment and I pull our my key that Derek had given me.
"What's wrong with you?" I hear Malia say to Scott as I open the door.
"Nothing," Scott says immediately.
"Your heart's pounding like crazy. Are you nervous?" Malia asks as we enter the loft.
"He's just bad at introductions." I turn my head to see Peter sitting on one of the couches with a book in his hand. He didn't look up at us as we stepped closer.
"Peter, this is Malia." Scott says slowly. That got his attention. He jerked his head up and I realized that Malia may not know who her dad was but her dad knew her. He jumps up quickly and walks toward us looking at Malia with an awe look on his face.
"Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your father?" Peter asks lost in his own head.
"Mother." Malia says. She looked very uncomfortable by Peter's look but who wouldn't if someone looked at you like you like the thing they would treasure the most.
"Interesting," Peter says before he realizes what he was doing, "Anyway, I'm sure they've told you a lot about me."
"The homicidal killing spree came up." Malia smirks.
Peter looked disappointed at that, "Well, we're all works in progress."
"Well, when you progress to your next killing spree, why don't you try and make sure they all stay dead?" Malia snaps.
"What's that suposed to mean?" Peter asks, confused at that statement.
"What do you know about people being turned by a scratch?" Scott asks.
"Did you scratch someone, Scott?" Peter asks feigning concern. "Don't your worry about it, the class have to go pretty deep."
"But it's possible? Like if you clawed out someone's throat?" I ask.
