For the umpteenth time, I banged my hand on the door of my own house in this dream world. The situation was bringing back bad memories of my past for when I was stuck in a dream world because of my father, Morpheus. I slumped against the wall as the memories came flooding back.
It was during the Titan War when Kronos was trying to destroy Olympus and become the world's new ruler. My family, the demigods, were the ones who stopped him but it wasn't easy. As the most dangerous demigod, Kronos wanted me locked up. He used his alliance with my father, the god of dreams, to lock my in a dream world. Being ten years old and still learning of my powers, I panicked when I was locked alone for days in the dream world.
Alone
Scared
Weak
I was already frightened about what Kronos would do to me if he won and I never escaped from my cell but the feeling of being weak and not being able to save my family was what kept me from realizing who I was. It wasn't till I spoke to Chiron, the person who guided me into the person I am today, that I realized how powerful I was. Till I realized how to escape.
It was the memories of Chiron that brought me back to reality. Back to the situation at hand. Time in dreams were iffy and I didn't know how long I was lost in my memories so it spurred me on to break myself out of this dream cell.
Taking a breath, I concentrate on connecting to the dream so I would have control over the dream allowing for me to create a doorway out of it. It was more difficult than I thought it would be. Ms. Blake was very strong. It might have had something to do with her sacrifices but it was a lot harder than I expected it to be but eventually, I was able to force my way into the controls of the dream. With a wave of my powers, I collapse the entire dreamscape.
Next thing I know, I shot up on the bed I was laying on. After a quick look at my surroundings, I realize I had been laying on Derek's bed. I smiled when I noticed the nest that Derek had created around me with the pillows and blankets. There were also a few of his shirts in the midst of the blankets making me laugh since I knew that was there because Derek's wolf was hoping his scent might wake me up.
I was startled from my examination of the place where I spent the last whatever amount of days in when I hear voice downstairs. Quietly, I begin to move to the balcony so I can see who was speaking as I listen to the conversation.
"You killed your girlfriend at the base of the Nemeton. It gave me enough strength to hold on till help could arrive." It was by this time that I recognized who was speaking. Ms. Blake, the darach. "You saved me. Our lives were fated to be connected. It was fated that we would be together. Atlantia, is the thorn in my side. She can either die or live as my weapon. I don't really have a preference. It's really up to you."
"Where does Cora fit into this." Derek's voice cut through me. I didn't know if I was relieved or scared that he was here. The Darach can easily hurt him even though it sounds like she has an unhealthy obsession with Derek.
"I don't care about your sister." Ms. Blake scoffed. "But it was the only way to get you away from Atlantia. I was going to kill her but now I think I'm going to use her so step aside Derek. I don't want to hurt you."
"It's too late, Ms. Blake." I say stepping to the top of the stairs so she could see me. "It's not going to be easy to give me the final dose of Cordelia." Vaguely, I was aware of my siren coming out to show Ms. Blake what happens when you mess with me and hurt the ones I care about.
"Atlantia," Derek says his voice trembling with emotions. I began the walk down the steps.
"Atlantia," Ms. Blake greets, "Nice to see you awake."
