chapter thirty three

Mal's pov

I'm out of Evie's house, waiting for my friends to be ready to go to Jane's birthday, when Audrey arrives, but she is different, her hair is darker, her clothes are purple with black feathers and she carries the scepter of my mother and the crown.
I get scared and I try to make her think, but she immediately casts a spell on me: I turn into an old woman.  Jay, Carlos and Evie arrive immediately, then Audrey leaves.
We decide to go get the stone of Hades to defeat Audrey, so we take the bikes and, together with Celia, we go to the Island.
When Celia and I arrive we go to get the keys to Hades "house", Celia sees her father again, she is really happy;  later we head towards a cave, we open the doors and enter, it's all dark, so we take some hats with torches, when we finally get to my father he is sleeping, I slowly approach him and while I am taking the stone that is next to him to his body he moves and puts his hand on mine to stop me, so I speak:
<Hi dad.> I see Celia making a surprised face
<Hey Mal>
I go straight to the point and say:
<I need your stone, Auradoj is in danger, the only thing that can save her is the stone>
After a long discussion he finally gives me the stone, so we go back to Auradon.

Uma's pov

Today I wake up early, I have a plan to get my crew and the VKs to Auradon, I just need to figure out if it's feasible as a plan, so I'll go and see if there is any hole in the reef underwater.
I get ready and immediately go to my boyfriend's room, I knock loudly on the door that opens Harry, we look at each other and I say:
<Hey, call Gil so we can go>
After a few seconds Gil also comes out and we all go together on the bridge that divides the Island from Auradon.
Harry and Gil remain hidden on the deck, instead I jump into the water: it's a wonderful feeling, I immediately turn into an octopus and go deep.
A few minutes later I see that the barrier disappears completely for a few seconds, then slowly reappears, I hear voices and a scream that is surely from Mal, I go up a little more surface to understand what happens, then I see something fall, so I take it fly with a tentacle and go up all the way, as soon as Mal and his gang see me they exclaim my name and I say amused:
<Did you drop something?>
<Uma give it back to me, she can't get wet!> Says Badly worried, I dive into the sea and then transform myself back into a human and appear behind the boys:
<Hi guys>
<Uma tell me, it's not a game> insists the girl with the purple hair
<We have to save Auradon from Sleeping Beauty's daughter> explains Carlos
<People's lives are at stake!> Mal continues, I turn to Gil and Harry, the latter ironically saying:
<Oh, what a problem>
Then I speak:
<If you want this stone back, you have to promise me that all the sons of bad guys will be free to leave the Island.>
I see Harry and Gil smiling at each other.  After thinking about it for a while Mal speaks:
<I can't> so I pretend to throw it into the sea and say more and more nervous:
<Now instead?!>
Evie and Mal yell "Yes" together, but to annoy them more I keep pretending to throw her in the water, so Evie says:
<Uma!  Uma!  You have her word, you can trust.>
<Ok ... but you certainly can't save the world by yourself, this is a pirate's task!> I exclaim.
Then Evie speaks:
<Okay, we may continue to hate each other when this is all over, meanwhile let's leave the past behind, okay?> Everyone ignores her, so she says:
<would you like a candy?>
<Let's go> I reply ignoring her.
