Requested by Anonymous: Can I request reader telling Tom Hiddleston she's pregnant and it's a little angsty as it wasn't a planned pregnancy and they haven't been dating for all that long?

A/N: My first prompt request!

Thank you Anonymous for being the first to send me a request. I hope I have done well and I have reached your expectations. I was very nervous about writing this, but once I got into writing I became less so.

Enjoy x

If anyone wishes to send me prompt requests, please use my ask box! But please do read over the rules first, which are pinned to my blog.

Summary: You have been dating Tom Hiddleston for only four months. You met him during a press conference for War horse. You were assisting backstage, which wasn't your usual job, but that day changed everything. Right from the start of meeting him he swept you off your feet, and both of you were quick to fall for each other. Everything had been fast and only fools rushed into things. Things were so fast in fact you just found out that you are pregnant. Neither of you had spoken about wanting kids or marriage, and now you are carrying his child. You knew you had to tell him, but telling him was what set your anxiety off the charts.

Warnings: Angst and unplanned pregnancy

—————————-

You were expecting Tom Hiddleston, your boyfriend to arrive on your doorstep any moment now. Your nerves have been a complete wreck all day, which lead you to madly rush around your small one bedroom house trying to tidy up beforehand. A clear indication of your nerves was the fact you fluffed the couch cushions at least five times already, and you were in the process of doing it again. You normally wouldn't be so obsessed with cleaning or fluffing the cushions so many times, but today was a different story.

Five minutes later, as you were checking over your appearance in the hall mirror, the doorbell rang. You jumped a little from the sound echoing throughout the hall, and you stopped looking at yourself in the mirror. You then took a few steps towards the front door and inhaled sharply, as you reached for the handle with shaky hands.

"Hello, darling!" Tom greeted you warmly as you opened the door to him, and you let out the breath you were holding. But before you could step aside, he thrusted flowers in front of you, your favourite flowers. He had them hidden behind his back at first. "I love thee with a love that shall not die, till the sun grows cold and the stars grow old." Tom was always mushy with his words, even when he quoted Shakespeare to you you'd go weak at the knees.

For a moment you felt calm despite being a little weak in the knees, yet, Tom just knew how to make you feel that way. Even though you'd only been dating each other for four months, you both had a strong connection. You met Tom at a press conference for War horse while assisting backstage, which wasn't your usual job. In fact you are an assistant to the head event's organiser. Your job mainly consisted of handling the phones, keeping paperwork together and fetching coffee. Almost like an office job in that respect, however, you dabbled once in a while with idea suggestions. Your voice was still very much valued. And from when you first laid eyes on Tom you were completely smitten. Of course, he was an absolute gentleman the entire time. He swept you off your feet with his charming smile, intelligence, laugh and his good heart. Which all seemed too good to be true at first. He was different from anyone else you dated before and he was so easy to fall for. He even said he loved you after three weeks, you reciprocate his love too. Also, you knew right from the first date, that he was going to treat you the way you deserved.
