A bit of both version 2

A/N: This pretty much spans over the first couple of episodes of the series. And I hope you enjoy version 2, which is long overdue!

Summary: You've been working at the TVA for the past eight months and you have seen quite a number of things already. Yet, nothing prepared you for when the TVA brought in Loki Laufeyson, a variant. You knew all about Loki's life prior to his capture, but you never expected to be teamed up with the God. Nor had your time at the TVA prepared you for when you found Loki and Mobius in a passionate embrace. Or the fact Loki wanted you to join them.

Hunter B-15 and her team of Minute Men brought in their newest captured variant, Loki Laufeyson. Just like any other captured variant he was forced out of his own clothes, and had them replaced with the TVA jumpsuit. And a Time Twister firmly wrapped around his neck, a useful little device to use on any variant. He was thrashing about like they all did, while trying to get free from being manhandled and get out of standing on trail. You could hear his cries of protest all the way down the hall, but the cries seemed to cease when they passed you, while Hunter B-15 was escorting Loki to see Judge Renslayer. However, what you found strange was the fact Loki looked back at you over his shoulder, as he was still being dragged along. Until they were too far down the corridor for him to see you. Once he was out of sight you simply shrugged your shoulders and got on with your job. You practically treated it as any other day at the TVA, despite it being far from normal. As you were soon to find out.

Some amount of time had passed and you were about to deliver some filed paperwork to Casey's desk, when the shrill sounds of the alarms halted you in your tracks. Something had gone wrong. Minute Men suddenly came storming past you, one even knocking into you and sending all the flies of paperwork fluttering in a sea of mess to the ground. You huffed angrily as you knelt down and began gathering up the scattered pieces of paper. Nothing seemed usual still at this point, as there was always a variant attempting to escape their fate. The end of the line for disrupting the sacred timeline. But, as you began reaching for a piece of paper which was furthest away from you, the familiar white shoes of a variant almost trampled over your outstretched hand. You just about caught a glimpse of Loki running with the Tesseract in hand. He was running the opposite way the Minute Men had only just fled from, heading towards the same destination you were. So you quickly scooped up the remaining pieces of paperwork, and stumbled up onto your feet, before you began running after the god. The paperwork in a heaped mess in your arms as you ran, in fact some pages fluttered out of your arms, not that you noticed leaving anything behind you.

"Is this the greatest power in the universe?" Loki asked in utter wonder as he gazed up at the screen of the timeline, just as you arrived in the office. And Casey stood just behind him with his trolly full of all sorts from the timeline.

"We are an extension of that power you speak of." You say a little breathlessly from just inside the doorway, causing Loki to falter from his wonderment.

Ping!

Loki and Casey spun around on their heels upon hearing the lift near you halt on the floor. It opened up to reveal Hunter B - 15 and three of the Minute Men, who purposely moved with authority towards Loki. Each of them is equipped with a baton which is designed to incapacitate and prune a variant. And just as quick as they move in on Loki, Mobius comes darting into the room, causing you to drop all the paperwork once again. Although, instead of you bending down to sort through it you watched Loki use the Time Twister to escape, just at the last second before Hunter B - 15 could pruned him.
