A/N: Thank you to Chocolate_Cherry for being so patient while waiting for me to finish your prompt! I enjoyed this one quite a lot when writing it, hopefully it turned out alright.

Remember prompt requests are temporarily closed at the moment and I'm just finishing off the prompts that were sent in weeks ago. I will let you know when I decide to reopen them again.

Prompt requested by Chocolate_Cherry on A03: Loki is part of the Avengers and gets injured on a mission. Female reader is a medic checking him out and she admires he's trying to be a better person and he has guilt. It's also awkward that he's naked and she is taking his temp in the tuhy lol and Thor comes in and makes everything more embarrasing. Please.

Summary: Loki suffers injuries during a mission with Thor and the rest of the Avengers. At first Thor and the others believed it was another one of Loki's tricks, however not this time as it turns out. But as soon as they arrived back at the Avengers tower only you were willing to treat him, due to the rest of the medic team refusing to help given what Loki had done to New York, despite his attempts of redemption. Although your offer of help surprises Thor considering you and Loki don't get along.

------------------------------

"Get help! Please, my brother is dying! Help him!" Thor cried hysterically, as he ran whilst carrying Loki bridal style further into the Avenger's tower once the lift stopped on the medical floor.

Loki was in a bad way, almost on the brink of death. No tricks, no illusions this time. It was very much real, at first Thor and the rest of the Avengers had thought Loki may have been dramatising his injuries, just like he has done many times in the past. Although the discolouration to Loki's already pale complexion only got worse, in fact it turned into a sickening colour, and he was losing a lot of blood. Loki's whimpers and sharp intakes of breath weren't fake this time either. It might have taken Thor and the other Avengers a while to realise this was actually happening, albeit Thor just had to hope he wasn't too late.

"Help! Please, get help!" Thor continues to cry hysterically, but the medic team seem to just ignore his pleas. They, like most, still see Loki as the one who reaped havoc on New York, and nothing more than the monster he was that day, despite his best efforts to prove his redemption. However the medic team were more than willing to look at the rest of the Avengers, and take care of their various states of injuries, although none were as bad as Loki's are.

"I'll help him." Thor heard you say sympathetically after he'd been pleading to the rest of the medic team to help.

At first Thor was taken aback by your offer to help Loki after everyone else ignored him and considering you and Loki didn't really get along very well. Yet he soon shook that feeling off and nodded his head once in agreeing to your help. He then carried Loki into a private room that had been prepped like the rest of them for anybody who needed one after the mission. Thor proceeded to gently put Loki down onto the bed as you pulled over the medical equipment by the bedside on the little trolley.

"Thank you, Y/N." Thor says, as he wipes the tears from his face and helps you remove Loki's armour.

"Don't thank me yet. He's still in bad shape." You say honestly. Albeit once Loki's armour was off you began to undress him, but Thor was a bit hesitant about you undressing him, even though he knew his brother needed to be attended to.

"Wait!" Thor says, as he puts his large hand over both of yours as you were about to undo Loki's leather trousers.

"Wait? Thor, if we wait too much longer I won't be able to help him." You replied seriously, as your eyebrows frowning with confusion, and you left no space for arguing really.
