"Ding, ding!"
We all got off the bus, and walked to a field not far from a small high school.
"So, is there anything I should expect before this Terf war begins?" I ask Blyke. He seemed the nicest, though I couldn't really read the Elaine girl's personality from the short conversation before.
"Not really, this school Isn't particularly well known for strong royals. We have matches against them every now and then because Arlo went to middle school with their king." He explained.
"Oh, so that's why you weren't worried about bringing me." I mutter to myself.
"Yep, but if what Blyke mentioned earlier is true, you shouldn't have any problems." Alaine said, walking backwards to face me.
"What was mentioned?" I ask, worried he'd picked up on something he wasn't supposed to.
"That you knocked Arlo off his feet, no one does that." Blyke says excitedly.
"He literally just slipped on ice, it's not like he'd fall for it again." I explain.
"So? It was still hilarious!" Blyke defends.
"Quiet. We're here." Arlo says, probably just to get Blyke from destroying his ego.
"Arlo!" A Green haired boy calls as we approach.
"Hello Marco, what caused you to ask for a match out of the blue like this?" Arlo asked.
"Heard Seraphina was back in the game, but it seems my information was wrong." Marco said.
"She subbed in for one match against Agwin, that's it." Arlo tells him angrily.
"Well, it seems you have a new queen anyway, or is she subbing in too." Marco asked.
"She's not a new queen, student council has been pretty busy recently." Arlo replied.
"Can we get started, I've got some math homework due tomorrow." Blyke butted in.
"Sure. Let's get started." Arlo responded.
"Jacks up first or three v. three?" Marco asked.
"Jacks. Blyke, your up."
