"I'm gonna get to lunch, see you." I tell Isen as I leave the classroom. He doesn't follow me, but I don't manage to stay alone for long. After rounding a few corners on my way to the cafeteria, I find Remi standing outside the student press room.
"Hey, Remi! Wanna eat lunch together?" I ask, but she only shakes her head in response.
I follow her eyes to find another betting sheet for which superhero would die next on the bulletin board across from her. I quickly walk over to the board, and snatch the paper off of it, heating it up until it bursts into flames.
"Ignore those idiots. They just use stuff like this to feel better about their boring lives." I tell her.
    "I know." She mutters.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask quietly, walking back over to stand next to her.
"Did your old school have a good king?" She asks, "Did you like him?"
"There were two kings at the last school I went to while I was there. The first was a bit of a jerk, but he was tolerable. The second had good intentions, but it was hard to feel safe with him in charge. Why?" I explain, referring to John and the king at New Boston before him.
"The second one, the one with good intentions, was he too good? Was that why things didn't work?" The pink haired girl asks.
"No, he got vindictive after realizing he could get revenge with the power that came with being king. I don't think there is such a thing as too good of a person."
"Even if someone takes advantage of them or people get hur?"
"That just means the other people aren't good, right. Some safety measures should always be put in place to avoid that, but it's better to have an extremely nice person in charge than a tirant." I say, "Did someone say something to you that's making you second guess your ability to be Wellston's queen?"
"No, no. It's just that my brother was king here when he was in school, and some people didn't like his way of doing things." Remi explains.
"Well, as long as things are still running, it could have gone worse. Things don't seem to be that bad here, even if I would love to give some of the high tiers a piece of my mind sometimes." I laugh.
"Thanks, Hela. I needed that." Remi smiles at me.
"No problem. Now, let's go get something to eat. You'll regret skipping lunch by the time school gets out if you don't." I tell her.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go. Maybe they'll have chocolate cake today."
