Chapter 37, Rapunzel.

    "Beep beep!" My phone buzzes.
    Glancing down at the couch where my phone sat, I sighed.
    "John, you better be almost here. We aren't gonna have time to watch all the movies we planned if you're much later." I grumble.
    Swiping open my phone, I read the text John had sent me, smiling gratefully at Remi's insistence of buying me a phone. The text read, 'I won't be able to make it, Arlo is letting me run some errands with him. We can do our movie night tomorrow.'
    "He's making friends?" I ask myself, "Darn it, I can't even be mad that he ditched me."
    Laughing, I text Remi, 'Wanna watch some Disney movies when you get home? John cancelled.'

    "Who names a dish after a rat? Even if it makes sense in the context of the movie, I know that existed before Disney got it's hands on it!" I grumble.
    "I can't believe you've never seen Ratatouille before!" Remi says between laughs.
    "Blame my dumb kid brain for wanting to watch Rapunzel on repeat." I laugh.
    "Ring, ring!" My phone buzzes.
    "Let's see if John has finally realized that he should apologize." Remi says.
    "I doubt it." I laugh, before opening the phone to find a text from Seraphina. The text said, 'Get over to John's place now.'
    "What's it say?" Remi asked when she noticed my face turn sour.
    "Grab the first aid kit, I have a feeling that John's day out with Arlo didn't go as expected." I tell her.
    "Did he ask you to come over?" She asked, running to the bathroom.
    "No, Seraphina asked for him."
    "It's probably pretty bad then." Remi said worriedly, "Are you sure you want me to come with you? Me and John aren't exactly on the best terms."
    "Maybe not, but if Arlo did what I think he did, you're gonna have to keep me from fighting him."
    "Alright, I'm coming."
