"Shut up, I'm not in the mood for your jokes" I greeted my teeth and gave Manang the roses that he bought.
Pwede na akong mag tayo ng flower shop sa sobrang dami ng mga binigay niyang bulaklak sa akin sa loob ng dalawang buwan.
"Is that so?"
Tinaasan ko ito ng isang kilay at nakitang malungkot ang itsura niya dahil sa sinabi ko. Come on, what's with that expression, Sylvester? I sighed before pulling his shirt, "Let's not waste any more time, gutom na ako"
With that, his usual charming smile is back.
"Do you have an up-coming quiz later?"
Kaizer asked when he noticed the papers I'm currently holding. I nodded as a response to his question, I can't fail this quiz since this is under Ma'am Gizelle's subject, paniguradong malalaman ni Dad kapag bumagsak ako dito.
Besides, eto na 'rin ang last school works na kailangan kong tapusin dahil kailangan ko ng mag handa sa nalalapit na EUO.
Since kasama ako sa Debate competition, kailangan ko pang aralin ang mapupunta sa akin na topic, as far as I remember mamaya na nila sasabihin ang mga topics namin.
"May kilala ka bang Creston student na sasama sa debate competition?" I asked Kaizer, not taking my eyes off of the papers.
"I think Charles would participate in this year's debate competition, why?"
"Baka siya yung makalaban ko" I said, starting to get nervous.
"I'm sure you would do great regardless of who will be your opponent"
Hindi ko maiwasang matawa nang mahina sa sinabi ni Kaizer, is he trying to comfort me?
Nang makarating sa Wendy's ay sinabihan ako ni Kaizer na mag-hanap na ng mauupuan namin habang nag o-order ito ng mga pagkain, meanwhile, I snatched his bag away from him, so that he can order us food with ease.
As usual, I picked a spot where no one can see us immediately. Binaba ko ang gamit namin ni Kaizer bago mag cellphone habang nag hihintay sakaniya.
