It's already June, 16, a sunny afternoon that greeted new york city. It's been six months after the incident—it's been that long since I've last saw Kaizer with my own two eyes. A lot has changed for the past few months, for starters, Mom finally got discharged before new year's eve and she's now staying here in new york with me, second, I bought a house, big enough for ten people to reside in, funny to think that Noelle told me that buying a huge house is unnecessary since there's only me and my mom here. And third, I finally have my own company.
"Good Afternoon, Engineer, here's your schedule for today," With Noelle's energetic voice engulfing my office, I couldn't help but to wake up from daydreaming.
"Ah, yes," I reached out for the iPad and gave her a small smile before looking at an organized schedule that Noelle made for me. "They still aren't giving up?" I asked her while still making sure that my schedule is correct.
I heard Noelle sigh before sitting on a chair beside my table. "I keep receiving calls from Ginny Trosmez. She's specifically asking for your presence, Engineer. . . " she scanned my reaction. "Should we turn her down?"
"Well," I massaged my temples. Receiving calls from the Trosmez cousins isn't surprising anymore. Last month, the company received an announcement that Ivan Trosmez is prepared to pay a huge amount of money just to buy off this company from me—just so he can keep me close to him, "Turn all of them down--"
"Including Doctor Sylvester?" Noelle asked in a hurry.
I looked at her for a few seconds. "Yes, even that guy," Noelle gave me a bitter look and rolled her eyes at me!
"Be honest Engineer," she faced her body towards me. "What did you do to the Trosmez family?" Noelle asked with curiosity in her tone. It's visible that she's really genuine with her question, but even I, myself don't even know the answer to that.
"Nothing,"
Noelle scoffs. "Oh, C'mon! the company is dealing with so much stress these past few months because of them! We can handle them but not Doctor Sylvester—definitely not him, Engineer" she dramatically said to me, it's as if she's begging me to just accept their job offers so they can leave us alone. "Do you still remember the time where he blew up an old building in Bronx just for us to build a new one?" I almost let out a laugh remembering that incident.
That event caused a huge up-roar in New York.
"Yes. I do remember it," I said, trying to reminisce everyone's faces when Noelle told them that it was Kaizer—my ex who blew up a building. Everyone didn't know what to react back then, including me of course. But I was kinda expecting something like that to happened, I mean—it's Kaizer.
"Oh! do you remember last week? when he bought five flower shops around our company and gave them to you as a gift!? and it's not even your birthday!" she exclaimed and threw her hands in the air. "Seriously, Engineer, why don't you just marry Doctor Sylvester so he can stop doing this absurd things" she shakes her head.
I raised a brow. "Do you really think—Kaizer Sylvester, would stop doing this if I married him?" I asked which made Noelle completely silent, giving herself a minute to imagine a scenario
