Chapter 15

"It's almost christmas break, pero hindi pa 'rin kayo?"

They all looked at me with curiosity, pati si Pierce na walang pakealam sa girls talk ay naging curious na 'rin.

I can't blame them though, it's almost been 4 months since Kaizer is oficially courting me. Halos siyam na buwan na 'rin niya akong gusto pero wala pa 'rin progress ang relasyon namin—I mean, meron naman pero. . . I don't know how to put it.

"Hindi pa, excited kayo masiyado?" I asked raising one of my eyebrows at them kaya napairap silang lahat.

"Medyo," walang hiyang sabi ni Dove sa akin. "Ang dami na kayang nagawa ni Kaizer sayo these past few months pero hindi mo pinapansin" she said, getting irritated and started glaring at her coffee cup.

I shake my head, "What? katulad ng?"

Chanel raised her brows at me, "Have you already forgotten that he gave you a necklace that ranges from 100,000 to 150,000 pesos?" she asked, pointing at the necklace that I'm currently wearing.

Agad naman akong napahawak sa kwintas na binigay sa akin ni Kaizer dahil sa sinabi neto. Ah, yes. This necklace that almost made me block him on his socials. The reason that he bought me a necklace that cost a fortune is because he wants me to have something that I will always wear and bring with me.

"Yung pag punta lagi ni Kaizer sa Elite para lang makita ka," Olivia followed Chanel's statement, "talk about a waste of gas" she shakes her head and I couldn't help but to sit here quietly.

"And not only that," I turn my head to Yvane, "Kaizer also wrote a song about you" kinikilig na sabi neto.

I can't help but to sigh, after kasi ng Olympics ay naging busy na naman kami dahil sa up-coming exams pero pinupuntahan pa 'rin niya ako lagi sa University. Not only that, just as Yvane said, he really did compose a song for me titled "Cyrena" and it talks about how the third letter in the alphabet brings him so much joy. And now that they mentioned it, I do feel bad that Kaizer has to spend money on gasoline.

Tapos sinulatan niya ako ng letter titled "Things I like about you" nung malaman niyang kasama ako sa Dean's lister. Nasa 10 pages ang sulat na ginawa niya. In short, Kaizer has been giving his best to make me happy.

"Look," I lowered my gaze, afraid to meet their eyes. "Bumabawi 'rin naman ako kay Kaizer, ah?" I said trying to defend myself.

"By what? asking him on a date tapos Empire Mall lang pala ang punta niyo?" Pierce's annoying voice filled my eardrums. He's looking down on his phone, scrolling on some random instagram account of a Filipina Model.

"Pake mo ba Pierce? sinong nag sabing pwede kang mag salita" inis na sabi ko kaya napairap siya.

"You really need to step up your game Cyrena" Said Chanel before taking a sip of her matcha drink.

It's our last week of school dahil next week na ang simula ng Christmas break namin kaya nag-aya si Olivia na tumambay dito sa Starbucks. I was actually excited to meet them, hoping that we'd talk about our current life status—I didn't expect that we would end up talking about Kaizer.

"Teka nga," I shake my head and looked at them, "bakit ako ang hino-hot-seat niyo?"

"Ikaw lang naman ang may manliligaw dito" sagot agad ni Dove sa akin.
