A dinner with the Trosmez Family? don't make me laugh. One of the biggest hurdles I need to avoid is meeting one of them, but that exclude these four. And besides, there's a possibility of meeting Kaizer there, I don't want to risk it.

Mukhang napansin ni Gino ang itsura ko kaya naman nag salita ito agad bago pa man ako makasagot sa invitation ni Ivan. "He's not coming later," Gino forced a small smile. "It's just going to be us. . ."

I bit my lower lip, and looked at their desperate expressions. Ayaw ko talagang sumama, ayaw ko nang madamay sa pamilya nila. I don't want to see them again.

"Death anniversary ni Lolo ngayon, Ate"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa gulat at lungkot dahil sa sinabi ni Naomi, kaya naman sinabihan siya ni Ginny na para bang wala silang balak sabihin sa akin 'yon.

"Naomi! why would you say that to Ate Cyrena!" Ginny scolded her cousin.

"Wait," pinigilan ko silang dalawa. "Death anniversary?" napatikom ang bibig nila Ginny at Naomi. "Ni Lolo Hernand?"

My heart broke into pieces when Ivan and Gino avoided their gazes from me. Their silence were enough to give me the answer that I needed. Sadness and frustration rushed into me, I was clueless until now. . . and I hate myself for that.

"Ma'am, handa na 'ho yung mga pagkain at inumin ninyo" sabi ni Elena na lumabas mula sa kusina.

Humarap ako kay Elena at Janette. "Mauuna na kami. Babalik nalang ako ulit dito bukas," sabi ko at tinignan ang apat na nakayuko. "The four of you, let's go" Their eyes lit up in sync when they heard me. It somewhat made them happy to know that I'm going to attend their family dinner which also celebrates Lolo Hernand's Death Anniversary.

I'm not that heartless to refuse their invitation, lalo't na ganito ang occasion ngayon. But still, I can't help but to feel anxious knowing there's a possibility that I might see him later, I'm not satisfied with Gino's assurance.

Nang makalabas sa bahay, ay nag paalam kaming lima kay Manong Alfred na nagulat sa nakita. Matapos kong murahin si Kaizer tsaka ako sasama sa mga pinsan neto.

"I'll go with Ate Cyrena," Ivan said, sticking close to me.

"Gago, ikaw yung driver," inis na sabi ni Ginny. "Ako na sasabay kay Ate Cyrena" kumapit ito sa braso ko.

Gino opened the doors to their color black raptor that suits the boys well. "Ivan, hayaan mo na sila Naomi diyan." bilin neto sa pinsan kaya naman walang nagawa si Ivan kung hindi pumasok doon sa loob ng sasakyan nila.

Pinapasok ko na ang dalawa sa loob at nag away pa talaga sila kung sino yung mauupo sa passenger seat katabi ko. Sa huli, nanalo si Ginny sa jack and poy nila ni Naomi.

Naunang nag maneho sila Ivan kaya sumusunod lang ako sakanila ngayon.

"Wow Ate Cyrena, you look so cool while driving!"

"Teach me how to drive, Ate" Puro ako lingon sa dalawa dahil sa mga pinagsasabi nila ngayon sa akin. I forgot that these two are obsessed with me.
