Princess Bubblegum, Sandy Cheeks, Marceline Abadeer, and Erina Zeppeli had brought back the seven's dying bodies, all wrapped in bandages, to the hospital.
Miguel stares at them, grabbing his mouth, holding back his tears.
Anne comforts Miguel, hugging him and kissing him.
"I'm sorry," said Princess Bubblegum, who is with Marceline.
Miguel briskly walked toward Princess Bubblegum.
"Miguel! No!" yelled Anne.
*pow*
Miguel punches her in the face.
"RAUGH!!!"
Marceline grabs his arm.
"HEY!!!" yelled Marceline.
Miguel woges and roars at her. He kicks her away and flies backward. Marceline transforms into a humanoid bat and slashes her claws at him, but he uses Star Platinum to knock her down.
Miguel then uses Star Platinum to grab Bubblegum in the neck.
"Look what you did! Look what you fucking did!" he growled at her.
He sees her eyes full of guilt rather than fear, not being able to look at the boys herself.
"I just did a mistake," she whispered.
His eyes quiver as he throws her away.
Miguel angrily walks outside.
Anne follows after him.
"I asked for help," said Miguel.
"What?" asked Anne.
"I-I-I-I I did it... I asked for help like you said," said Miguel, angrily pacing left and right. "I asked for help... and now look where we are..."
"Are you blaming me-?"
"I am not blaming you, Anne... I'm just so tired of doing this, Anne. If someone dies because of Monster Emperor, that's on Bubblegum. If those boys die because of Monster Emperor, that's on me!" He grabs his head, feeling nauseated.
"Miguel. It's not your fault," said Anne.
"I'm just sick of it... I'm fucking sick of it, Anne... First, my dad... Then Jessica... Now it could be the boys, Anne... I'm so sick of people dying on me..." he began to tear up. "They die trying to help me. Why am I so GODDAMNED important!?" He clenched his jaw, angrily scratching the back of his head. "I just thought after all these years, they were ready... No, no, no, no, no... I fucked up, Anne... I almost got them killed, Anne! I almost got my own family killed!"
"Miguel," her eyes went teary. "It's alright."
"It is not alright," said Miguel. Miguel thought of something. "She planned all of this."
"What?" asked Anne.
"She planned ALL OF THIS!!!"
"Bubblegum?"
"Cassandra," said Miguel.
Miguel begins to fly upward.
"Miguel? Where are you going?" asked Anne. "Miguel!?"
"Somewhere," said Miguel.
Anne sighs and does something with a Zipper Kusai.
*zip*
"A good luck charm," she nodded.
Miguel nods back.
