Ranboo's POV:

Now, I couldn't tell that Tommy was freaking out, because he was masking. But I know him well enough, to know that the whole situation would have been very overwhelming. He was playing it off by joking around, which was how he coped with most things when he masked. And when the kids got off the train, I saw his shoulders drop a couple inches. I whispered to him, there were still people on the train, and I knew he wouldn't want them to hear.

"Well done for masking that. Even I was overwhelmed. You can listen to your music now if you want to; I'm not going to mind."

He turned and looked at me. Tommy had a small problem with eye contact, especially when he was stressed and couldn't mask as much, but me wearing sunglasses made the whole thing easier for him. "Thanks."

"It's fine."

By the time we got off the train, back in Brighton for the second day in a row, Tommy was back in vlog mode. It was pretty obvious to anyone that knew him properly, that he wasn't really up for masking that day, but he was doing it nonetheless. That changed a little when we got to watching Lovejoy though. At first he was fine, he was singing along and the ear plugs seemed to be helping enough for it not to overwhelm him. But it doesn't matter whether Tommy likes the music or not, sometimes the fact that music is playing is just too much.

He started rocking, which wasn't as obvious as it normally would be, because it timed with the music. But then he started to put his fingers in his mouth, that was more noticeable. After even longer, he kept trying to take the ear plugs out. I guessed that while they were helping with the sound, they were really uncomfortable for him. But Wilbur had told us to keep them in the entire time, so I kept trying to push them back in his ears. Luckily, they were just finishing. I saw Wilbur look at me, worried. And Joe, the other guitarist, kept looking over as the last song came to an end.

Tommy was still rocking, and that drew even more attention to him. I was trying to work out what to do, "Tommy, do you want to go outside for a minute?" It didn't even look like he had heard me. Wilbur took off his guitar and crouched down in front of us. He took Tommy's ear plugs and handed them to me, as he did so, Tommy pushed his fingers, which had a little bit of saliva on them, straight into his ears. And then straight out again, hence why I mentioned the salvia. He just couldn't handle it.

Obviously, now having a meltdown. Tommy continued rocking, and started to whack his hands about. He hit me on my shoulder, so I stood up to give him space. Wilbur was still crouched I front of him, dodging Tommy's flying hands. "It's alright Tommy. Can you stand up for a minute?" Tommy had scrunched his eyes shut, and continued with what he was doing. "Okay, that's alright. Right, I need everyone to leave apart from Ranboo and one person." Without any questions, and as little sound as they could make, they crept past Tommy to get out the door. David had stayed; he had known Tommy the longest out of all of them.

"Tommy. Ranboo is going to stand by the door, so if you try and run, you can't. It's just so we can help, okay? David and I are going to stand with you for a bit, and calm you down. Is that okay with you?" Tommy didn't verbally answer, but stopped whacking his hands around, and instead wrapped his arms around his shoulders and continued rocking.

"Wilbur. I think he might want a hug?" He was practically hugging himself already, it made sense. He nodded, and then stood up in front of Tommy, who looked like he was calming down a little.

Wilbur's POV:

Tommy's parents had talked to me and Phil about how to help Tommy during a meltdown before. Normally, Phil was around, but he wasn't today, so it was up to me. Stand up. Tommy's parents said that getting him to stand up was always their first step. Something, about him only wanting stood up hugs and Tommy understanding that once he had calmed down, we were going to do something? I don't know, I just followed the instructions. The reason I had asked David to stay was because sometimes Tommy would just totally reject being that close to someone. When we did his first vlog, Kristen ended up giving him a hug instead of Phil, because Tommy kept trying to walk away from Phil. I couldn't help but laugh when Phil got straight up rejected, but I have since learnt, that it's not something to laugh about.
