The request for this chapter was: Can you do one with younger characters like with that's Jess , where tubbos and Lani's younger sibling has autism and has a bad day something around that

Timing wise this is going to be set around last summer, time. So everyone is at school -except Tubbo cause he dropped out-. Hope that makes sense and enjoy!

Tubbo's POV:

Tommy wanted to film another video with my sister Lani. This time he was going it off stream. He had asked whether Teagan -my older sister- would film with him but she had refused. Twitch and YouTube and online stuff in general wasn't really her thing. He had asked if I had any other siblings willing to talk to him, but I lied. Mum and Dad said he wasn't allowed to even be mentioned online.

I have a younger brother, 3 years younger to be exact, who is autistic. Sam was my best friend when we were younger and even know, we were still very close. Due to me being quite small for my age and us looking quite similar, we've been dubbed the twins of the family. It used to annoy me when I was younger, but now I understand how funny he finds it, and I tend to join in with the joke. There's this picture in our lounge of me and him dressed the same when I was about 11 and he was nearly 8. (I'm quite short my age and Sam is quite tall.) Whenever I look at it, you can never tell that he's autistic. Or that I'm dyslexic. But him being autistic affects his life a lot more.

Sam has only ever talked a few times, the rest of the time he uses an iPad with a communication app. The few words he's ever spoken were: I love you and Captain Sparklez. We share our love of the Captain's minecraft content and to be able to talk and work/ play minecraft with him has been amazing. But Sam isn't stupid. He knows exactly what is happening, majority of the time, and he remembers things I could never. I love him more than anything, but Mum and Dad say no one online can know. Which is a shame, because he wants to be just like me. He wants to stream and make minecraft videos. Specially he wants to make videos of his big creative worlds.

He spends hours on huge buildings, and will play all the time if no one stops him. He has had the same creative world since he first got minecraft when he was 6 and some of the things on there are amazing. When I can't work out how to do something in minecraft, he will find a way to do it for me, and then explain it in a way we both understand. He can code as well. He taught himself to code using the command blocks and after me encouraging him with a few external programs, he taught himself it all.

So, whilst I understand Mum and Dad's reasoning for the rule: I was so close to introducing Tommy to Sam and letting Sam show off all his incredible builds to everyone online. I felt like Sam would get on with calmer Tommy too. The loudness and spontaneity of Tommy Innit would probably panic and overwhelm him, but the Tommy I knew better, the Tommy I hung out with, I knew Sam would love.

Tommy and I agreed to film on the Friday night. Mum, Dad and Teagen were out doing something for Teagen's school, so Lani and I were left alone with Sam. He wasn't difficult to look after, in fact most of the time we didn't even have to look after him.

He got home from school a lot later than the rest of us, the special needs school he went to was almost an hour away from our home and he got a bus to and from it. Mum was upstairs getting ready to go out, so I opened the door. He stood there in the rain, backpack scraping along the floor. I waved at the bus driver as Sam walked in, I closed the door behind him.

"Right, iPad, lunchbox and parent book out your backpack please Sam." I stood there with my hands out, keeping to the normal after-school routine he was used to. He touched my hand, dropping his backpack on the floor.

"How can I help Sam?" I said in a silly voice, my way of ingaging him in whatever we were doing. Only I did the silly voices that Sam liked. Mum and Dad had tried, it never worked.

He got his iPad out his backpack and pressed minecraft. "We can play minecraft later if you like. But you've got to get your stuff out. Then shoes and coat come off, and we can have a snack. I was thinking some pretzels this afternoon. That sound good?" He nodded. "Okay, then stuff out your bag please." I held my hands out again.

He handed everything to me and I read through that day's entry in the parent book as he took his coat and shoes off. It was a thing the school and my parents did. My parents would say how things were at home revolving Sam and the school would say how things were going at school. Mum's entry for the day before was about the family dinner we had, and how Sam joined in with our conversation using his iPad. It was a huge step and we had ice cream for dinner to celebrate. Yes we talked about minecraft, but he explained to my parents what the elder dragon was using his iPad, and he didn't just say bad. He told them about how you get to it and the end, and how when you kill it, you win the game.

Before I got a chance to read the school's entry, I felt Sam tapping my arm. I looked up, he pressed minecraft again. "Why don't you got into the lounge and start playing, I'll bring the pretzels through?" He nodded and walked straight into the lounge.

"Hey Sam. How was school?", I heard Lani say as I walked to the kitchen.

I poked my head round the lounge door a few minutes later, "you want anything to drink Sam?"

He tapped Lani's arm and she looked up at me. "He wants apple juice. But I think we've run out."

"I'll check but I think so too. What else can I get you Sam?" He shook his head, trying to say he didn't want anything unless it was apple juice. "Okay! Well I'll check."

Lani and I had been right, there was no apple juice. We had drunk the last of it last night with dinner. I re-entered the lounge with 3 bowls of pretzels (knowing Lani would definitely want them, despite her not normally joining in with Sam and I's after school snack). "Here you go. But no apple juice Sam. I'll get Mum to get some more tomorrow." He continued playing minecraft, now with unsurprisingly angry movements. Pressing the screen a lot harder than before, and chewing his pretzels without closing his mouth, instead just shoving them in. I just looked at Lani and smiled before watching whatever was on the Tv. We'd be alright, and I tried to convince her of that with the look.

Teagen came into the lounge with Dad, but neither sat down. They were dressed up fancily and obviously waiting for Mum. "You look great Teagen," Lani smiled and went to take a few photos for the 3 of them, as Mum came down the stairs.

"Right bye you lot. Don't do anything stupid. Toby can you make sure Sam has a chance to go through the space book with one of you, he didn't get to do it last night but I promise he would get to do it tonight."

"Yep, we'll get it done. Bye Mum, have a good time." Sam had loads of facts books in his room, on all different topics. Mum and Dad had always been keen for Sam to get a good education, and he was had started his GCSE's at the start of this year. He was doing pretty well and was predicted to get all passing grades. He's got the memory for it, and his handwriting is pretty good. (I've told my parents that I reckon his hand-eye coordination got really good from playing minecraft and that was why his hand writing got better.) And because my parents were so keen for Sam to enjoy learning, we've always had facts books around the house. They would often be correlated with his current obsession at each time, but minecraft was a constant. In fact, he's made his own minecraft fact books. Teagen did all the art for him and he added the facts in. My parents framed them. They were so proud and now they show them to everyone who comes to our house.
