TW- Panic attack
Wilbur's POV:
I was playing in the pride MCC event, and my team were doing well. Grian, Techno, Jimmy (or Mr solidarity as I liked calling him) were playing pretty well. It was cool to get to play with Techno again, especially in an event that didn't matter too much playing wise. It was more important we raised the money for an awesome cause than made some insane pvp play.
Now to say I never got stressed in MCC would be an absolute lie, but because it was a non canon event and Techno was on my team, I was fine. It was the most fun I had ever had in an MCC.
And then my office's fire alarm just had to go off.
The sound was horrible. Just the wrong pitch that felt like my ears were getting stabbed by knives. It was overwhelming, but the pain I was feeling pulled me out of shutting myself down. And I exited the building as quickly as possible, slightly worried it was a real fire. Not really worried just slightly.
The security guards were the only other people in and I met up with them outside. They were highly unhelpful, didn't know what had gone on and were waiting for the fire department to arrive. Or something like that, it was hard to follow what they were saying, near impossible. I could still hear the ringing and everything was becoming fuzzy. I walked a little bit away and called Phil on my phone.
"Phil?" I hated the fact you could hear the way I was nearly crying in my voice. That wobble at the back of my throat.
"You alright mate? Just take some deep breaths." I broke down sobbing, unable to catch my breath and panicking more and more.
Phil's POV:
I had Techno's stream open. Tommy and Will's open on seperate tabs, but at that point, I was watching Techno. I heard a fire alarm blaring through the stream and made the links pretty quickly. They discussed muting Wilbur, and telling chat he would be fine. I stared at my phone intently, already expecting a call from Will.
And there around a minute or 2 later, it popped up on the screen.
"Phil?" He sounded like he was crying, and I knew exactly what was happening. I tried to remember how to help, I hadn't had to do it in a while.
"You alright mate? Just take some deep breaths." He seemed to break down, just completely lose it. I felt bad, like it was my fault. It wasn't, I just felt like it.
"Will, it's alright mate. Breathe in with me... and out again." I heard choking breaths down the phone: he wasn't calming down. And I was getting discord messages from Scott. "Will give me a minute, just try and breathe for me." I muted the phone, screaming down the stairs, "KRISTEN!"
"Yea? Is it Will?" I nodded, as she came running up the stairs. She had been watching too.
"They want me to fill in for him, but he's having a panic attack. He'd be mad if anyone else knew, but I don't have another excuse."
"I'll talk to him, you play. Don't worry, I've got this."
"Thanks," I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and handed her my phone. She disappeared out my streaming room and I sat back down at my desk.
As fast as I could, I got everything set up, making sure there wouldn't be any surprise issues mid-game. And whilst the entire time, I was a little stressed about how Will was doing, it was fun to just be playing. Still couldn't shake those thoughts though.
Kristen's POV:
I grabbed Phil's phone and after him giving me a quick peck on the cheek, I disappeared downstairs to the living room. "Will, can you hear me?" There was an unintelligible whining sound from the other sound of the phone. "You're going to be alright, just breathe with me. Can you tell me your favourite colour Will?"
