Chapter 1: The New School

A/N: Hey, everyone!! This is my first ever fan fiction!!

I've read loads! And I've written other stories but I've never tackled FAN FICTION before! 

So this is my first ever so please be kind and help out. 

I usually proofread before posting but you can never be too sure so pleeeease let me know if I made a mistake grammatically or in spelling words or stepped out of character...

This story had Kinabra, NaLu, Gruvia, Gajevy/GaLe, Miraxuss and Jerza!! I hope you enjoy...

Chapter  1

Lucy studied her nails as she twisted a strand of her blond hair with her fingers. She was extremely nervous. After years, her dream of belonging to the prestigious Fairy Tail High had become a reality.

She was now waiting outside the principal's office as a new student.

Two others sat with her. An intimidatingly calm, beautiful red head and a drop-dead gorgeous girl with silky, shiny silver-white hair. They seemed to know each other already.

"Hello!" the girl with silver hair spoke to Lucy, "My name is Mirajane! I'm a new student. Nice to meet you."

Lucy smiled back. Mirajane had one of the sweetest voices ever.

"My name's Lucy!" she responded, "Nice to meet you, Mira! I'm new too."

"As am I," came the regal voice of the stunning red head, "My name is Erza."

The three girls smiled at each other.

Lucy started the conversation again, "You guys know each other already?"

"Why, yes," said Erza, her bangs covering one eye, "Mira and I used to be, uh, childhood friends. We are now very close. Though when we were young, we didnt get along quite, um, well."

Mira gave a soft laugh, "I was going through a Gothic phase and our egos kind of clashed!"

Lucy blinked. Mirajane? Gothic?

 She looked at the sweet girl in front of her with her angelic face, huge eyes, beautiful hair and a body to die for.

Mirajane giggled in response, "Most people can't believe it!"

Lucy's face colored. "Sorry! I didn't mean to stare... I'm just really nervous."

"What about?" Erza wanted to know.

"It's been my dream to study in Fairy Tail High so when I'm actually here, it's kind of scary. I've been home tutored till now so, I'm not sure how schools actually work..."

Mira and Erza exchanged a look and then turned to her with kind smiles.

"Don't worry, Lucy," Mira's sweet voice sounded sincere, "Erza and I will help you along. We're new ourselves so it should be fun getting to know this huge, noisy place."

Erza nodded, "Above all, we must make a name for ourselves here!"

Lucy grinned. She couldn't believe how quickly she'd gotten to know these two beautiful people with strikingly contrast personalities.

"Um, excuse me."

The three looked up to see a nervous girl with beautiful, wavy blue hair.

She fidgeted with the cape of her hood, her lips slightly apart.

"Have you seen a handsome man with navy blue hair, midnight blue eyes and an absolutely dreamy voice anywhere around here?" She almost swooned.

The three stared at her.

"Uh, no?" Lucy said, confused.

"Um, alright. Juvia is sorry to bother you then." She said and quickly left.

The other three stared after her with weirded out expressions.

"What was all that?" Erza asked.

Lucy shrugged.

Then, almost immediately, the door to the waiting room opened and in walked a boy fitting the description perfectly.

"He is good looking, I'll give you that." Erza said quietly, "But that is no way to make a girl feel! Women are not slaves!"

She banged her fist on the low coffee table in front of her.

Lucy smiled at how much of a feminist Erza seemed to be.

The sound of two male voice arguing filled the room.

The calm dark haired boy took a seat opposite the three ladies with an expression of boredom. He didn't seem to notice them at all.

"It was your fault!"

"Spare me, flame brain. Ye're the one who fell into the thing!"

"But I didn't throw a rock at it!"

The three girls looked up as two more boys entered.

One had spiky, pink hair and a white scarf wrapped around his neck. He was in a heated argument with a boy quite taller.

The tall guy had metal piercings on his face and red slit like eyes. His hair was long and shaggy.

The two didn't notice the girls as they took their seats next to the quiet boy and continued quarrelling.

"Will you two give it a rest?" the dark haired boy's impatient voice finally said.

"Stay outta this, Gray!" they shouted at him at the same time and went back to fighting.

Gray rolled his eyes.

The door opened again and a senior boy's head poked into the room. He had spiky, blond hair and a scar the shape of lightning over one eye.

He opened his mouth, "Will the the both of you shut it?" He bellowed.

The two quarrelling boys shut up immediately.

The tone with which the older boy spoke had so much authority that the girls cringed and Gray sat up straight.

"I don't want to hear the old man telling me again how my friends are such losers so be quiet, got it?" He said in a low deadly tone.

The pink haired boy and the metal pierced one gave forced nods.

The blond guy left.

"He didn't have to yell." The pink haired boy whined.

He caught sight of Lucy staring at him and almost immediately gave her one of the biggest grins she'd ever seen.

Lucy's eyes widened and she smiled sweetly back at him.

What an adorable guy.

"It was still your fault, Natsu." Gray said in an impatient tone.

"Was not!" The pink haired boy complained.

So his name is Natsu thought Lucy.

"If those two don't shut up, I will make them." Erza calmly dictated.

Lucy's back straightened. The blond boy wasn't the only scary one.

Mira only giggled.
