Getting Seats

A/N: You guys are still reading and that, to me, is amazing!

Just finished the latest chapter of Fairy Tail and I can't wait for the next one.

Tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't want to Fairy Tail to end...

Chapter 22:

"Let's get some seats." Levy said.

Lucy nodded, "I hope you win, Juvia!" She said.

The blue haired smiled back, "Thank you, Lucy!"

Erza led the way back to the bleachers.

Lucy kept her head down, dragged along by Levy.

She looked up from time to time to see some rather good looking guys walking by wearing a shirt that read Go Blue Pegasus.

Lucy shook her head. Those boys were rumored to be absolute narcissists but also extremely popular among the ladies.

Somehow, she felt like she'd see atleast a couple of them.

She tugged on Levy's arm.

Levy slowed her pace and tilted her head to give her bestfriend a questioning look.

"Levy, " Lucy bent to get near Levy's ear, "I didn't know that Gajeel and you were on such good terms!"

"Oh," Levy blinked once, "um, Lu, he's actually nice. I mean, he's actually a pretty great guy but I'm still not sure if I'm over me fear."

"You are, Levy!" Lucy smiled down at her friend as they hurried behind Erza, "You're totally friends with him."

Levy sighed.

And she wasn't sure if that were a good thing or not.

Mirajane slid down a row of seats, almost gliding down in her high heels, dark jeans and yellow tank top.

Her hair waved behind her as she walked, grabbing the attention of almost every person around irrespective of gender.

Something about the way she did things always seemed to captivate people.

Kinana followed her swiftly, keeping her purple head down as she walked.

They reached a few empty seats and Kinana placed her messenger bag down on a seat.

Erza and the others would be there soon.

Mirajane took a seat before realizing that it would be wiser to leave the empty seats between herself and Kinana.

She shifted a few seats to the left and then leaned back to get comfortable.

The person to her stiffened and Mirajane tilted her pretty head to the side to get a glance of the man.

Her face morphed to surprise when she saw a muscular, blond Laxus, his eyes trained on the pool.

She smiled, "Laxus!"

Laxus snapped out of his thoughts to turn his head slowly to look at her.

"Hi."

Mirajane smiled again, "You're here. How nice of you to come support Fairy Tail High."

"It is my school." He responded quietly.

"Oh. I really had no idea that you'd be a patriotic kind of guy."

Laxus took a moment to respond, "I'm not. Really."

Mirajane shook her head. "It's still so sweet that you'd sacrifice you're Saturday morning to be here."

"Yeah," Laxus stared into her eyes for a moment before averting his gaze.

"Eric!" Mirajane heard Kinana squeal.

The handsome Cobra leaned into view from the seat next to Laxus.

His face formed into a tender smile, "Hello there, Kinana."

He gave Mirajane the grin he gave everyone, "Hey. Mira, right?"

Mirajane smiled back at him even when a million things went through her mind.

Eric behaved a little differently towards Kinana. He was definitely a little more on the caring side.

And it wasn't in a brotherly way either.

The way he looked at her was different. Very different.

Mirajane smiled to herself as she settled back next to Laxus.

How interesting.

A good many minutes passed as Kinana and Mirajane waited for Erza, Lucy and Levy.

Mirajane watched a few boys from the famous Blue Pegasus High School scurry through the crowd looking for their instructor.

Mirajane shuddered at a memory of meeting the person the students was looking for, Mr. Iciya. He was definitely... an unforgettable man.

She twirled a lock of her hair with a finger before turning slightly to the left to catch Laxus staring at her.

He was leaning forward in his seat, strong arms resting on his knees as he looked into her face with an almost unreadable expression.

Mirajane sent a questioning glance his way.

Laxus swallowed before shaking his head slowly.

He took a deep breath and leaned back into his seat.

Mirajane wondered if he'd smile back is she smiled at him.

He seemed like such a serious guy.

She gave him an almost hesitant smile, something the cheerful Mirajane had never done before.

He glanced at her once before giving her a small smile.

The change it created in his features was unreal and Mirajane took a moment to admire how attractive Laxus Dreyar could be.
