At The Amusement Park

A/N: Second time typing this up and I am not amused...

This is just sad...

I couldn't publish the chapter... I tried thrice...

Chapter 38:

"I'm all fired up!" Natsu was yelling.

Lucy smiled from where she walked between Gray and Natsu.

"I'll beat ya in all the competitions! Yo, Gray!! You listenin'?"

"Hmm?" Gray snapped out of where his attention had been, "Whatcha say Flame Brain?"

Natsu and Gray started an argument. Lucy looked over at what Gray had been so absorbed in watching.

To the trio's left, walked Lyon and Juvia. Juvia was staring at Lyon with large, attentive eyes as he told her something with a small smile on his face.

Lucy couldn't believe it. Juvia was paying attention to someone else when Gray was still around.

Could this be real?

Kinana looked up at the clear blue sky as she waited next to Erza for Jellal and Eric.

A car pulled up in front of them and Mirajane got out. She bent at the waist as she glanced back into the car, probably thanking the driver.

Erza folded her arms and began tapping her boot on the concrete pavement.

Kinana shivered.

Erza getting angry was never a good thing.

Mirajane shut the door to the car and spun around.

Her large, blue eyes took a moment to notice Kinana and a very angry Erza.

"Erza!" Mirajane exclaimed as a cute blush filled her cheeks.

Kinana turned her head to the side to see Erza's expression go from anger to surprise.

Mirajane skipped over and threw her arms around Erza, "Laxus is such a gentleman!"

Erza's response was rather serious, "Mira, are you drunk?"

Mirajane stepped back, a little confused, "No?"

Erza and Kinana glanced at each other with worried expressions.

Kinana didn't understand. Mirajane was a sweetheart but no one had ever seen Mirajane skip around or blush before.

Laxus' car had left, probably to the parking lot.

"Kinana..." Erza whispered in the purple haired beauty's ear, "Do you think Mira's behavior seems... normal?"

Kinana shook her head slightly, "No, she seems..."

The two girls watched Mirajane do a little twirl, admire her pink skirt and then look up at the sky.

"Light-headed?" Erza asked her.

Kinana nodded slowly.

Mirajane hummed to herself with a blush on her face.

Kinana and Erza heard something from near the road.

They looked over to see Laxus walk up to the pavement, the keys to his car in his other hand.

He looked over at Mirajane, gave her a small smile and then turned to enter the school building.

The girls watched Mirajane giggle to herself and then look over at them with a bright smile.

Erza's face had gone from surprise to denial.

"It can't be..." Erza muttered to herself, "Mira in love?"

Kinana glanced at Erza and then back at Mira.

The usually calm rather gorgeous Mirajane Strauss gave Kinana such a large smile that there was no doubt about it.

Erza and Kinana glanced back at the Head master's grandson who was nearing the entrance to the school building.

"If I didn't respect him, I'd throttle him to find out what he's done to Mirajane."

Kinana had no doubt that Erza would.

The glass doors, which served as entrance to the school, opened and Levy walked straight into the built grandson.

"YOU GU- Oof."

She stumbled back. "I'm sorry..."

Laxus waited a moment to make sure that Levy was alright before nodding, "S'nothin'."

He walked past her, reaching out with his hand to hold the glass door.

Levy shook her head once before glancing up at the three girls, "They're coming."

Kinana became nervous the moment she heard those words.

She wondered if she looked okay.

An ink blue top hugged her body, She wore dark jeans with light blue boots.

Erza had picked out and put together the ensemble.

Eric had probably seen her sometime during the day so she didn't think that this dress would impact him at all.

Erza, Levy and Mira were having an emergency meeting, making her all the more nervous.

Then, quickly, Levy and Mirajane left in the direction Lucy and the others had taken a few minutes back.

Erza put her hands on her hips as she waited for Jellal to join her.

Kinana looked over at the two boys, probably the deadliest, who approached them.

Erza would probably never walk down the aisle to her marriage but make Jellal do it.

The realization made her giggle softy. She looked over at Erza who blinked. Kinana shook her head slightly and mouthed that she'd tell Erza later.

The redhead gave her a small smile before nodding.

Kinana looked up nervously at the boys who approached.

Eric reached her and gave her a tender smile.

Kinana's nervousness immediately vanished as she looked into the eyes that were familiar to her. Eric could and always would make her feel safe, whether there were bad guys against her or not.

He took her hand and led her to the pavement. The thought that he might love anyone else pained Kinana and she wondered if Eric would consider her romantically at all.

She hoped so.

Eric tilted his head to the side to look at her, "Anywhere in particular you'd like to go, Kinana?"

"The Amusement Park?" Kinana asked him softly.

"There?" The usually calm Cobra looked a little unsure, "The place with the rides?"

Kinana glanced at his face with a concerned expression, "Yes, Eric?"

Eric swallowed, "Alright. We'll go."

"It's alright if you don't want to..."

The Cobra was back to his usual demeanor, "We'll go to the amusement park, Kinana."

He smiled at her before tapping her nose with his other hand.

Kinana blushed before wondering about Erza and how things were going with Jellal.

A/N: I honestly hope this publishes... I so wanted to update everyday...

Why? I'm almost crying...
