Ah yes, chapter time!

Chapter 90:

Lucy clutched at the fabric of her skirt as she bit her lip. They were ten minutes away from the start of the competition and she was incredibly nervous. Standing just outside the main ground of the arena, Team Loke could hear the excessive cheering of the crowd as each school's name was called out.

"... Sabertooth!"

A ear deafening roar went through the stadium and Lucy's eyes widened.

"Who knew they were this famous..." Laxus muttered from behind her.

Mirajane nodded, looking gorgeous in her pretty dress and high heeled boots, "Wow..."

Natsu waved away their comments, "We got our school cheering for us! That's all we need."

Lucy couldn't help but smile as she watched the back of his spiky, pink head, "You're right..."

Gray snickered from beside her, "Bet they'll cheer so hard, they'll scare the audience away."

The team grinned to each other at the comment.

Lucy looked around her to see the large, beautiful emeralds that stayed embedded in the walls, sparkling and adding to the beauty of the place.

Laxus looked unsettled about them.

"What's up with you anyway," Natsu enquired receiving a vague reply from the Lightning Dragon-slayer about getting goosebumps when he stood beside the thing.

"It makes me look nice though," Mirajane posed in front of the large gemstone, "Don't you think so, Laxus?"

Laxus only blinked.

"How are you feeling, Team?" Loke appeared from behind them.

Lucy and the others smiled over, "Great."

Natsu's hands were starting to give out sparks, "We're all fired up to win!"

Loke smiled, "That's good to know. You have a few well-wishers..."

Erza pushed him to the side, "Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Laxus, Mira, do your best. Fairy Tail's counting on you."

Jellal smiled, approaching her from behind as the Team straightened.

Meredy, Levy and Gajeel crowded in as well, "Yo, salamander, don' mess up."

Lucy looked over to see Natsu grin, "Won't! We plan on winning this thing!!"

Levy gave her blond friend a hug, "Show them how it's done, Lu. I know you will!!"

Lucy laughed, "Of course, Levy! You guys stay safe."

She looked over at her friends with a short pause, "Where are Kinana, Erik and Cana?"

"Mission." Levy wiggled her eyebrows.

"Really?" Lucy looked surprised.

"Yep. Cana's third-wheeling."

Lucy hit her best friend's arm with a laugh, "Levy!"
