I know I put a chapter up in the morning, but Wattpad is finally treating me well so I'm excited to start writing like usual.

Between my week off for the exam and this week when I couldn't update due to technical problem stuff, I think I've lost readers. This is really sad but I'm so glad that some people are still reading.

Chapter 40:

Kinana looked around her as she held onto Eric's hand.

They were in the large amusement park.

Around them, stood large rides and huge groups of people. Kinana kept close to the Cobra as he walked through the crowd.

She tried thinking back to the time they'd spent together as children. Had they ever gone to an amusement park? A circus?

Kinana couldn't recollect any such outing.

Then, it hit her.

A conversation they'd had a long time ago.

"Eric?"

"Yes, Kinana?" A short Cobra of ten years asked his chubby friend.

"Everyone's talking about the new amusement park," Kinana's voice was soft and sweet.

"Yeah?"

"Yes," Kinana smiled slowly, "Do you think we could go?"

"Uh..." Eric put his hands into his pocket and shrugged, "I dun' wanna."

"Oh," Kinana did her best to hide her disappointment, "That's alright."

"Kinana," Eric sighed, "I, um, I get sick on rides."

"I do too, sometimes," Kinana said, feeling bad for upsetting him.

"No," Eric looked at her with a rather wry expression, "I get sick on anything that moves."

Kinana blinked, "Really?"

He looked away, "Uh huh."

Kinana placed her hand on his arm, "That's okay, Eric. That makes you special."

"Getting motion sick makes me special?"

Kinana giggled and Eric looked back over at her, "Maybe."

Eric smiled and gave his chubby girl a huge hug, "Thanks, Kinana. You're the only one I ever trust."

Kinana looked back at the grown up, slightly muscular man who now walked beside her, still holding her hand and keeping her safe.

"Eric?" She whispered.

"Hmmm?" He looked down at her, "Yes, Kinana?"

"Eric, I completely forgot that you get motion sick... I'm really sorry I-."

Eric gave her a small smile, "S'alright."

Kinana waited for what he'd say next. How could she have been stupid enough to forget important things like this about him?

She hoped she hadn't hurt him.

"You remembered," He gave her a wry smile, "Things like that I hoped you'd forget."
