DAY 437

MIDORIYA's POV

I sighed falling to sit on my bed already completely dressed. I thought a warm shower was going to help me relax, but it didn't, if anything it only made me think things over and over again.
My phone buzzed startling me and I found myself staring at the ID on the screen. Gathering a bit of courage, with a heavy sigh, I opened the message. It was rare for dad to get in touch with me, so I expected the worse.

"Happy birthday son. I'm in town for a few days, text me if you're free to meet up before Thursday."

I had a bad feeling about dad being in town, the idea of my mom calling him to tell him all about me and Shōto was not helping at all.
With a sigh I got up trying to stop thinking about the whole situation and throw my phone on the bed before walking out of my room.

Not gonna lie, Kirishima running my way startled me; I didn't expect him to be a few steps from my room, not that he'd be looking for me out of all people. He started to talk about random stuff as we made our way towards the stairs and walked down to the common room, but I didn't really pay attention to what he was saying.

"So, what you guys gonna do?" - Kirishima asked.
I thought I've never thought something like that but at that point he was starting to be a real bother. He was a really nice guy, and I generally enjoyed his presence, but I was not in the mood to talk, I didn't want to be around people if not my boyfriend. I just wanted to get some food and go back to my room with Shōto, watch a movie and cuddle. Maybe, we could make out a bit?

"Probably just watch a movie or something, you know, just chilling with my boyfriend..." - I answered honestly as we walked into the common room, Kirishima looking around nervously.

"Well, I'll leave you two alone then! See you later!" - he said quickly running off somewhere as soon as he saw Shōto sitting alone on one of the couches.

"Well, that was weird..." - I mumbled sitting down next to Shōto.

"What was weird?" - He asked blocking his phone to look at me.

"Kirishima, he wouldn't leave me alone until a couple seconds ago, then he saw you and he just run away..." - I explained getting comfortable on the sofa - "Want to eat a bite and watch a movie?"

He didn't answer right away, seeming deep in thoughts, so I moved around a bit to meet his glance.

"He was probably looking for Bakugō, we were talking before so..."- he mumbled looking away.

"You and Kacchan were talking? What were you talking about?" - I asked frowning.

"He noticed you were off, so he asked what happened back home and I told him. Not the whole thing and with no detail, I just told him it didn't go well. That's all." - he mumbled anxiously.

"It was not your place to tell him..." - I groan leaning back against the back of the sofa.

He mumbled an apology as he shifted around to be able to look at me easily, saying that he knew but couldn't help to tell Bakugō just to calm him down. I sighed heavily, deciding that it's pointless to start a fight over it, I'd eventually had told Kacchan, so it was pointless to scold him any longer. Not that I meant to do it anyway, I wasn't really mad at him, I was just pissed in general.
