Aaron<3: up for a family dinner this Friday?

Me: anything special?

Aaron<3: yeah my cousin is coming into town and I need you there please

Me: let me think about it. still coming to the party this evening right?

Aaron<3: I'll be there sweetheart;)

I put my phone away and look towards the stage where the graduates' names are about to be announced.

The sun is scorching and I bet everyone is going to get a bad tan before we are done with this ceremony. I have on a light brown floppy sun hat with a pink band on it. My romper is peon pink which I got from LoveShackFancy, the same color as the bow I have on my hat. My shoes are lace up light brown heel sandals from Schutz. For my jewelry I have on an Elle drop earrings from Kendra Scott, my necklace is the Tiffany's I got last summer and my bracelet is the Cartier my parents got me at the beginning of the school year with some other bracelets I got from Amazon.

I fan myself with the folding silk fan I got last week with the girls when we were shopping for white maxi dresses for graduation. Naya got a white satin slip dress by Aidan Mattox from a small vintage designer store and Maddy's mom designed a dress for her.

Graduation is a big deal at St. Mary's, alumnis find students the summer before their senior year to become their mentor. This could mean several things, they can help with letters of recommendation for your dream school, help you land an internship, act as a parent if you don't have the best home life, even take you on constant vacations or get you into elite spaces. I heard about a girl who got an alumni mentor that trained her to join elite models. She did go to college but now she is big in the modeling industry.

My dad and Maddy's dad actually went here so I can't wait to see who they pick or get. I also can't wait to see who would be mine or my friends'.

It doesn't take too long to get to N and now we're in O.

"Naya O'Sullivan" our family erupted in cheers. Her boyfriend Reece screams out, "now that's my girl!" he, James and Andrew shouts her name out in unison.

We keep going then get to R, my ears are about to bleed again like before. "Madeline Chiara Richardson-Morelli" I am so in love with her name.

She waves her arms in the air and shows off a small dance as we scream her name. "Go Maddy" I shout while waving at her. "That's my sister!" Reece waves at her. He's their biggest hype man.

Once the ceremony is done, the graduates run to us. Naya runs into Reece's arm and he picks her up before giving her a kiss. "Don't crush the rose" she tells him and he puts her down before pretending to squash it.

I hug them both tightly, "I am so proud of you two, graduated with summa cum laude and honors, that's so crazy" a blush appears on their faces.

"You will follow in our footsteps baby" Maddy said.

Cindy is here with her brother Jason because his best friend is graduating too. I see her waving at me, "Cindy!" I give her a small kiss on her lips and she gives me one on my cheek.

"I missed you so much" her grip gets tighter, "we saw each other on Monday" I tell her. She shakes her head "too long"

From the side of my vision I see Simon lock eyes with me, he looks taken back before he tears them away and walks off.

Seeing him makes me feel some type of way and I have a sick feeling in my stomach.
