so this is a relatively shortish chapter but i promise there are much longer chapters coming up very soon. also this is kind of a filler but also the introduction to a new storyline— you know what, im just gonna let y'all read it lol. btw, i totally didn't write the majority of this chapter standing in line for subway or anything 👀

The day started off pretty strange.
For one, there were not a single sarcastic comment from Tony during breakfast which, as a result, caused Adelaide to check out the window of the sun had actually risen from the east this morning. But that wasn't even the strangest thing that happened today.
The strangest thing happened at Delmar's that day after school.

"I can't believe I'm dating someone who dips his fries in honey mustard," Vivian said as she watched her boyfriend sitting beside her in the booth, eating french fries dipped in honey mustard.
Adelaide winced too and dipped her fries in ketchup for reassurance. Well, technically, they were Peter's fries, but his spidey sense radar didn't go off when his girlfriend stealthily stole his fries and she decided to fill up on as many fries as possible before he noticed.
"I told you, just give it a try. It tastes really good," Ned mumbled with a mouth full of fries.
"I'm good. Really," Vivian said. Ned rolled his eyes, going back to enjoying his honey mustard fries while ignoring his girlfriend's judgmental gaze.
