Rosaliá couldn't help the blush that had been adorning over her pale cheeks ever since they left the lounge with the stunned looks on the faces of fellow royals and an egocentric Princess's tampered esteem.
Her feet stumbling to keep up with his long strides, Rosaliá had no idea the Hanguk Prince could show more of his acceptance towards her than what he already did.
She had obviously thought through the possible hurdles of being in a romantic relationship with a royalty but the said royalty being the Hanguk Prince himself, made her susceptible to difficulties worse than she had thought.
Like being taunted on a regular basis by smitten Princesses.
"Your Grace..." her firm voice loosing to the battle of being touched by his gesture of owning their relationship so gladly in front of his companions had her flattered.
"I have had enough of her bullshit." His harsh wordplay over the previous episode made Rosaliá shut herself up completely.
Eyes softening as she saw how his face was still scrunched into a scowl, she pulled him back as soon as they had entered her room. Surely, she had not noticed that he was dragging her to her room in the first place.
"You need to calm down." Her words felt gentler than she could remember ever speaking with.
Her palm over his cheek, she softly fondled and cradled his face with her lips forming a tiny curve to show how much she appreciated him for taking her side.
"I can't let anyone belittle you." His voice although firm, the facial expression said that he was anything but in the mood to get less angry right then.
Courtesy of her coaxing, she guessed.
"People are going to talk, your grace." Rosaliá spoke as her hands settled on either side of his face.
"You cannot shut everyone up. If they don't talk in front of you, they will talk behind your back." She said as her hands slid down to his chest.
"And does that really matter? What the others say?"
Her question was valid but so was Jungkook's concern.
"You don't understand Rosa. You don't feel the hurt as much because it's just starting...but with time, when this taunting escalates you will feel humiliated and I need to stop it before it gets out of hand." He said holding her wrists and pulling her closer.
"I will not let anyone hurt you." His whispers fell on her like the warm wisps of freshly baked bread.
"I will not allow anyone to insult you. You deserve all the love you can get...you deserve all my love." He said kissing her forehead, long and warmly.
"Do you understand?" He asked pulling back a bit as he stared at her smiling form, when she nodded in affirmation.
"It's a mystery to me how you are smiling even after everything that you have gone through because of Kiesha. If anything, I should be the one consoling you but here we are," he dramatically sighed, "you consoling me and trying to get my anger straight."
