Shangri La Pt. 1

2: Intoxicated

'I could tell he was strong but... this is ridiculous!!!' Izumi thought as she looked to see all the thugs were laying on the ground. 

She thought this was going to take longer, but was still shocked at how fast the ash blond got rid of the threat in front of them. 

'Hah- that took longer than expected." Katsuki said, sheathing his sword behind his back. 

'Wait- did he just say it took longer than he thought?!? He annihilated them in seconds!' Izumi thought. 

She looked at the sword that was on his back and noticed something about it right away, as she saw a large red stone on the blade and it shined intensely.

"Is that... a Ruby on your sword?" Izumi asked. 

"Huh? Oh yeah, that. Yeah it is, what 'bout it?" Katsuki said, looking down at the cloth covered girl. 

"Ruby's are powerful stones, does that mean that you're-" 

"No I'm not from that stupid Ruby Tribe." Katsuki interrupted.

What Katsuki just said is basically another clan of powerful people just like the Emerald Clan, the only difference is that the Ruby Tribe are more like warriors that wield powerful flames. It is said that this tribe's flames are as strong as a Phoenix's flames. 

Note: ( We're not gonna go into deep detail about this in this fanfic, so don't worry about this. This is something from my own story, so ignore in this fanfic. )

"But- you would have to be if you have such a powerful weapon!" 

"Tch- Someone gave it to me, why do you fucking care?" Katsuki said. 

"I-I'm sorry..." Izumi said as she felt like he was towering over her. The large cloak she had over her swallowed her body and her hair was completely hidden from his sight. 

'I'm lucky I'm hiding my face from this guy, I don't know if I would be alive if he found out who I am.' 

"Oi-" 

Izumi slowly lifted up her head and her eyes went wide as she saw those piercing Ruby Red eyes staring at her, as his face was just centimeters away.

"What's someone like you doing out here by yourself? Are you stupid?" Katsuki said. 

"I-I was coming here to deliver something!" Izumi yelled in a panic. 

"Deliver something, huh? What is it?"

"W-Why do you need to know?" Izumi asked, getting nervous. 

"Can't you gimme some credit, I just saved your fucking life." Katsuki said with a smirk. 

"I-I don't think it would be necessary to have you continue to help me. But I am in your debt since you saved my life." Izumi said, holding her hands close to her chest. Katsuki could tell the little girl was shaking, but it wasn't cold outside at all.

"Yah-" 

Izumi looked up at him again, this time he was able to get a glance and was surprised to see her soft and large Emerald Green eyes looking at him. They seemed so delicate and kind of surreal to look at. 

"Show me your face." Katsuki said in a serious tone. 

"My... My face? But why?" 

"Because I gotta know who I just saved. Those dipshits said you were dangerous, are you?" 

"Of course I'm not dangerous! Hah- why are we constantly accused of being dangerous just because of this strange curse?" Izumi muttered. Katsuki heard her mutter, but didn't really think of what she meant by it.
