115: Drenched

"Well, when you put it like that, I guess it would be a bit overboard, but who's gonna do all of this laundry with you?" 

"Eh? W-With me? O-Oh no, there's no need to think like that. I can handle doing all of this on my own and–" 

"No." 

As she turned her attention to the blond standing next to her, Izumi witnessed Katsuki start to roll up his sleeves and how serious his expression appeared. 

"I'll help you."

"E-Eh?" 

"Yah– Katsuki, you're a Captain, so shouldn't you be taking control of those Knights like you're supposed to?" 

"Not when this is more important, not when Izuku is left to do all this. It'll be faster if I help." 

"Do you even know how to do laundry?!?!" 

"It's not that hard, and it's not like I'm a slow learner." 

"Now you're really pushin' it, Katsuki! Do you really think you know how to use those laundry wringers in the washing room without breaking the thing?!?" 

"Oh yeah, like you can do it better than me! You've broken more things than I have!!!" 

"Why you–" 

"U-Um, I-I have another way." Izumi muttered, trying to speak up. Both blonds focused back on her and weren't sure what she meant. 

"Huh? You have another way to do laundry? Like what? Don't tell me you need a wash board?" 

"N-No, i-it's a much faster method."

"Are you serious? You want us to do what?" Katsuki groaned as Izumi finished pouring in the last bit of water into the large bucket. 

"Though we can use our hands to clean the laundry, our feet are a lot faster if we just step on the laundry and make sure all the soap and suds get into it. I usually only do this method when I have large portions of laundry to do in the East, so this shouldn't take as long compared to if we did it with our hands." Izumi explained as she then dumped in the first batch of dirty sheets. 

"Hm~ She does have a point, and I used to do this method when we were kids at home." Yu noted. 

"Not only can it be effective, but it actually turns out to be pretty fun too!" Izumi added. 

"You're kidding right? I know I said I'd help, but there is no way you're gonna make me believe that this is the better way to do this! I won't believe it!"

"I can't believe I'm doing this~" Katsuki groaned as he and his bare feet started stomping onto the wet laundry in the large bucket as the soap started to spread and create more bubbles. 

"I thought you weren't gonna cooperate~? Hm?" Yu teased. 

"Tch– As much as I don't wanna... this is better than standing and watching other guys train for the rest of the day." the blond answered. 

"Hmph– That's just an excuse since I know the real reason why you're doing this. It's because you couldn't ignore Izumi's big, cute beady eyes pleading for you to help her, huh?" 

"Y-Yeah right! Like I'd fall for that!!! And why am I the only one doing this when you said you were gonna help?"

"Eh? When did I say that, not when I know my skillful brother can manage. Besides, I've got chores I need to do myself, so best make sure to keep an eye on Izumi. Who knows, maybe she might finally fall for you."
