"Come to the city with me today."
Katsuki felt himself freeze up from those words that he wasn't sure if he heard the greenette correctly.
"Ah– H-Huh?"
When he finally processed those words, Katsuki's cheeks turned from pink to red as there was no way he would be able to handle hearing her say those words a second time.
"You– You want me to do what?"
"Please come to the city with me today, it's really important." Izumi repeated with confidence in her voice like before.
"I-I heard you say that already, but why the hell should I do that? I-I already told you that we should just act like strangers."
"I know, I know, but since you've done so much for me, I don't think going to the city with me and being my personal guard today shouldn't be an issue. Please~ Katsuki? You're the only one I know that will be my guard, so can you?" she begged.
And though it was a simple question, the blond imagined her to be giving him big puppy eyes and quivering lips while she was blushing up at him.
"I-I–"
"You wouldn't want me to go by myself and end up getting hurt, would you?"
That was when the blond couldn't take the begging anymore and clasped his hand over his eyes to try and calm his heart from feeling like it was about to explode.
"Hah~ Fine, I'll go."
"Alright! Oh, c'mon, we need to get ready!" The greenette cheered as she grabbed hold of his hand and pulled him to follow her, causing his heartbeat to pick up its pace once more.
'Dammit–'
"Have fun you two~" Gin sang behind them.
"S-Shuddup!"
"Don't worry, I'll be watching the boys today, so go have fun." Gin yelled back as he watched the pair leave his sight, only for his smile to vanish.
'Right, gotta go see Shiro and Zeri and see if they've got any news for me to hear. Hah~ Can't believe I'm back in the Organization, not really what I planned, but it's one way to see Shiro again, I guess.' the silver-haired man thought as he trotted the opposite direction and headed to the Great Piscis' temple.
"Here you go." Izumi spoke as she handed the blond a small pile of robes.
"Wha– What the hell's this?"
"Well since we're going into the city, I don't think it would be much of a good idea for the both of us to go without disguises. So put these on, and you'll look like you're a soldier of the Yaoyorozu Clan. Oh, and put this on too." she explained as she pulled the Silver band she'd gotten from the Great Piscis earlier that day.
"What's that?"
"It's like a charm, once you put it on, it'll change your appearance a bit and no one will recognize you. Can't let anyone recognize you even in Eastern robes." she added as he gazed down at the Silver band and saw a Lotus flower engraved in the heavy metal.
"You sure this'll work?"
"Yes yes, I promise, the Great Piscis gave it to me just for you to use, so hurry and change!" the greenette assured as she pushed him to get to change. Seeing how she seemed rushed for him to change into the robes, he couldn't help but think of this as them going on a date.
