135: Healer

Bump bump! 

The moment she turned away as she was about to leave the blond, Awase went into a panic. 

"Captain Bakugo!" The sound of panic in his voice and how all the other Knights called out to him easily made Izumi whirl her head back to see Katsuki had coughed up blood. 

Izumi froze on the spot just as he dropped to the ground as all the Knights tried calling out to him. Izumi's eyes widened with fear of the sight, as she immediately looked down to see the bottle that fell to the floor that he just drank moments ago. 

'Did... Was Katsuki... poisoned?'

"Captain! Captain!!! Can you hear us?" Awase screamed as he tried to hold up the blond. Izumi could only stand there shaking at the sight, because something just didn't add for this to happen all of a sudden. 

'B-But... That wouldn't make sense... K-Katsuki should be immune to any poison, s-so what was used for him to inhale to make him drop so fast?' 

"Katsuki-kun!!!" 

"What's happened!?!" Izumi lifted her head to see both Camie and Yu running up to the scene and could see worry in their faces. 

"T-The... The bottle... he drank it but... but then he... started coughing up blood." Izumi spoke as her voice started sounding shaky. 

"What?!? R-Right away?!?" 

"M-Mn." 

'No! I worked all night on that potion, it was supposed to be a love potion, so why would Katsuki collapse like this?' Camie thought with fear.

"Someone run to get the doctor now!" Yu yelled, forcing a group of Knights to run and leave the scene. 

"I-I–" 

"Awase! What was in that bottle?!?!" 

"I-I don't know, I was only asked to take it and bring it to the Captain! I-I didn't know it was poison!" 

"Dammit, that doctor better get here fast." Yu growled. 

Hearing all these voices swarm around the greenette, Izumi suddenly thought it was her fault that something like this would happen. 

'How could he have been poisoned so fast? The only kind of poison that I remember it could be would be a specific flower. Ah– Wait a minute!' 

"Everyone, please let me get a closer look!" Izumi screamed, forcing everyone to hear her and move for her wishes.

"Izumi, what are you doing, you shouldn't be seeing this!" 

"No, I need to! I-I think I need to check something!" 

"What?" 

"Let me see him, Awase, give him to me!" 

"Y-Yes!" 

As she crawled up to the blond as it was clear he was struggling to breathe and couldn't really see anything or anyone around him clearly. 

'The first way to really clarify if this really was poison is by testing it with any metal. He consumed the entire bottle without leaving a drop, but I'm sure there's still some acidity left in his mouth.' 

"Does anyone own any silver metal on them?" 

"Silver? Izumi, why're you asking us this when Katsuki's–" 

"Fine! I can just use this!" Izumi screamed as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her silver hairpin that she was gifted and carefully placed the end of the hairpin into the blond's mouth and under his tongue.
