146: Clarification

"Both of you to the temple, now." 

'Uh oh.'

Though he'd never met Izumi's cousin, Katsuki straight away knew that whatever was about to happen in the temple was not going to be just a simple conversation. But it didn't stop there, as when Izumi and Katsuki watched Emra leave them, they then watched her approach both the Prince and Princess to say something to them. 

'Eh? The Prince and the Princess? Why does Emra need to speak to them?' Izumi thought. 

"Izuku." 

"Ah–" 

When Izumi turned to look back at the blond Captain, she wasn't expecting to see a bright blush on his face as he was averting her eyes but still holding her hand. 

"W-We should go, there's... a lot of eyes on us." Katsuki noted, only making Izumi want her eyes to wander on who was looking at them. Sure enough, all of the Knights were staring at them and Izumi managed to make eye contact with some of them. 

"Ah– Oh. R-Right."

"Izumi~ You've returned!" Shiro cheered as she held her arms out for the greenette to run up to her. 

"Great Pisces~ It feels like it's been forever since I last saw you~ I'm so sorry I didn't tell you where I went~" Izumi whined as she hugged the woman. 

"Hmph– It's okay, your Knight in shining armor here personally came to see me and begged me to figure out where you went." 

"Oh– Wait– What?" 

"I looked into the future to find you, that's how he found you so fast, and seeing that you're alive and well means that things are better. You changed the history that was written for you." Shiro proclaimed with a sweet smile. 

"Ah– M-Mn! A lot of things have happened to us." 

"And I will believe that, and I must thank you, Katsuki, for going after Izumi so intently." Shiro confessed, moving her attention to the Captain. 

"Wha– I– I knew no one else would, so..."

"Oh good, you two got here first." 

The three revolved their heads to see not only the Emerald Dragon entering the room, but the Prince and Princess as well. 

"Ah– Your Majesty, the Prince and Princess!" Izumi exclaimed as she could only bow to them in such a hurry even though she was the only one to do so. 

"Oh– You're the girl... from that one day that served me." Momo pointed out. 

'Ack! Am I really remembered by the Princess this way?' Izumi thought. 

"What the hell are they doing here?" Katsuki questioned. 

"Shouldn't we be asking the same?" Shoto added, causing both men to start glaring at one another. 

"Geez, we know you two don't like each other, but can you just take this situation seriously for once?" 

Both men thought they were hearing things as they heard another familiar male voice, forcing them both to jerk their heads to see the White Lotus appeared as well, including Gin, were all in the room.

"What the– Gin?" 

"Acri?" 

"Why the hell are you in here?"
