Shangri La Pt. 1

4: Discovery

Katsuki felt his eyes open on their own, as wasn't expecting to see a ceiling to a small room. He immediately thought he was captured by someone. He jumped and quickly sat up from the floor. 

"Shit!" he yelled and tried to catch his breath. 

'Don't tell me I was captured and taken here?' Katsuki thought, looking around. 

"Why're you yelling?" Katsuki froze, he slowly moved his eyes upward and saw a woman with Electric Purple hair and Red Violet eyes staring at him, it was still Zeri. 

"What the-" 

"I'm surprised with how much energy you have after getting shot from behind." Zeri said.

'I got... shot?' 

Katsuki soon felt a strong swarm of pain coming from his left shoulder. He looked down and saw bandages wrapped around his shoulder and bicep. 

"What the hell?" 

"It's a good thing you were immune to the poison that was on that arrow, the girl was so worried when she saw you coughing up blood." Zeri said, going back to what she was doing before Katsuki woke up. 

'Girl?' 

He tried to think and remember the sight of such large and delicate Emerald Green eyes staring at him, but nothing more than those eyes.

He jolted his head to look back up at this strange woman. 

"Where'd she go? That girl, I mean?" Katsuki yelled. Zeri looked down at him, her expression was blank and emotionless. 

"She left early this morning. She was afraid the people that you two encountered earlier would come back and take her, so she left before that happened." Zeri said. 

"Her name-" Zeri froze. 

"What's her name?" Katsuki asked. Zeri looked at him again and remained calm looking at his harsh Ruby Red eyes. 

"Don't know, she didn't tell me." Zeri said, that was a lie. 

'She asked me not to tell him her name, but I really do question how she didn't recognize this man the second they met.' Zeri thought.

( Flashback )

"Will he be alright now?" Izumi asked. 

"He'll be just fine. Judging from how long he had that arrow, he's got more strength than you think." Zeri said. She looked up and noticed how worried Izumi's face was. 

"I was worried he wouldn't be okay, but after watching him take down all those people who tried to capture me... he really is strong. Usually I don't ask for help from anyone, but when I asked him, he helped me in a heartbeat. He's kinda strange when I look at him now." Izumi said. 

Zeri looked down at the sleeping ash blond and then back up at the greenette. 

"Do you... not know who this is?" Zeri asked.

Izumi looked up at the doctor. 

"Huh?" 

"Do you really not know who this is? Anyone that holds a Ruby is known to live in the Western Region. Ever wondered why his clothes were very different?" Zeri asked. 

Izumi immediately looked down at Katsuki and realized the clothing he was wearing. He wasn't wearing robes or anything flowing like men of the Eastern Region would, but he wore leather and tight clothing which was something normal in the Western Region. 

"H-He's from the West!?! Why didn't I realize that sooner?" Izumi said. 

"That's not all. Do you see this crest?" Zeri said, pointing at his belt. There was a crest that was in a deep shade of red and had flames around it.
