Shangri La Pt. 1

55: Bewitched

While continuing to watch his fellow knights in training like usual, it didn't take long for Gin to look over and see a certain spiky blond stumbling his way back to the training grounds. 

"Hm? Oh hey, how'd it go seeing your girl? You're back faster than I thought though." 

"Ugh~ Shuddup." the blond groaned. 

"Hm? That doesn't sound good, so did you manage to give her the hairpin?" 

"Yeah~" 

"And? Did she not like it?" 

"No, she liked it." 

"Huh? Then what's the problem? I even tried to wish you luck and you clearly said you didn't need it, so what happened to make you act like this?" Gin questioned, as it was clear the blond wasn't being specific about anything. 

And before the silver-haired Vice Captain was expecting an answer, Katsuki stumbled past him and was heading towards the building where they've been residing, only for him to stop right in front of the wall. 

'What's he planning on doing, just ignoring me and gonna try to get some sleep?' Gin thought as he continued to watch the blond.

But what he and nobody else expected was for Katsuki to literally headbutt the wall over and over, causing a loud thumping to be heard throughout the training grounds. And because he continued to cause such noise, everyone around the training grounds stopped what they were doing to see the blond Captain appearing as if he was about to lose his mind. 

"Wha– What're yah– Okay, enough of that." Gin sighed as he grabbed the blond by his shoulders and pulled him away from the wall before letting the Captain hurt his head anymore. 

But even when Katsuki was pulled away from the wooden wall, he kept bobbing his head forward and backward as if he never left the wall. 

'Is he trying to look like an idiot? Ah–' Gin stopped his thoughts the second he realized that everyone around them was watching this little fiasco going on. 

'Crap.' 

"Alright, all of you get back to training! Nothin' to see here!" Gin exclaimed, forcing everyone to mind their business as if what they were witnessing was just an act. And in mere seconds, everyone went back to their usual like nothing happened just a few seconds ago. 

"Phew~ That was close. And you come with me, seems like you're startin' to go a little loony for being in this place for so long."

"Geez– What the hell's wrong with you? You don't ever like making scenes like that to look like an idiot. What was the reason for doing that and getting everyone's attention like that?" Gin argued the second he and the blond Captain were alone and no one could hear their conversation. 

But it didn't seem that the blond would change his attitude even when it was just the two of them, as he soon rested his head in his hands and groaned with annoyance. 

"What is it now?" 

"I just... Why is she so pretty~~~~~????" he cried out, making the Vice Captain flinch from such an unexpected answer. 

"You– Hah~ Seriously? That's why you were hitting your head like that and making a fool outta yourself?" Gin questioned, as he crossed his arms.

"She told me that she knew about the fight and she watched me, which was why she came to me as soon as the fight was over to help me. And then when I gave her the hairpin, she asked me to help her fix her hair and put the hairpin in for her. And then when I finished fixing her hair, she asked me how she looked and told her she's beautiful~. But I wasn't lying about that, she really is pretty, and– and– And she's so fucking nice to me that my heart can't take it~~~~" Katsuki groaned as he couldn't stop the adorable blush that was on his cheeks.
