After being given a tour of the main castle with the unexpected sister that is to the Captain of the Todoroki Knights, Izumi still felt a bit challenged by just how massive these palace grounds were. It felt like this place was 3–or even 4–times bigger compared to the Yaoyorozu Clan's palace, as there were more bedrooms and bathrooms to count altogether.
Not only was Izumi impressed that such a big structure–made entirely out of stone–that this castle came to be, but the fact that Yu knew each and every single room and the purpose of each room was, even if it was just a guest bedroom.
And though she continued to follow the blonde the entire way, Izumi was starting to get short of breath as her body wasn't used to walking this much in the past 3 hours.
That's right, this entire tour has been 3 hours long, all because Yu likes to go into detail about certain rooms and things. So not only was Izumi's legs getting tired, but she was getting short of breath because her back injury had still not completely recovered at the moment.
"And if we head in this direction, then I will show you all of the maids that work here." Yu added as she clearly wasn't paying attention to the heavily breathing greenette walking behind her.
'How much... longer? My backs... burning... Ah–'
"And while we're on our way there, I hope you don't mind me asking you about– Hm? Ah– Izumi!"
The second Yu turned back to look at the greenette, Izumi was now kneeling on the ground and her breathing had gotten worse than before.
"Oh no, Izumi, are you okay?"
"Ye– Yes... I-I'm just... lost my... breath for a... bit... D-Don't worry... I-I'm okay..." she breathed.
"Are you sure? I could take you to our Royal doctor–"
"Ah– Your... Royal doctor?"
"Mn. Here, let me help you and I'll take you to them." Yu offered as she didn't even hesitate to turn around and make the greenette rest her head onto her back and then picked her up off the ground and carried her piggyback style.
"Ah– Y-You don't have to... do this–"
"Of course I do, I wouldn't hear the end of it from my brother if I let this happen to you. And besides, you're lighter than you think–honestly as light as a feather." Yu answered happily as the greenette didn't even try to argue back as it only reminded her of another blond.
"Hm? He's not here, that's not normal. Doctor Gunner~~~~ I brought someone that needs some attention!" Yu exclaimed, as Izumi wasn't breathing heavily anymore now that she wasn't on her feet.
And now that she could see straight, Izumi lifted her head to look around at where they were to see how dreary the room they were standing in appeared.
"T-This– A doctor resides here?"
"Yeah. I've tried to bring in the natural sunlight to this room, but this doctor can be a bit stingy about it. Doctor Gunner! Stop hiding!"
"I wasn't hiding." a deep and hoarse voice spoke.
Both the blonde and greenette shifted their attention to see a crumbled up blanket start to move and then reveal a man with Midnight blue hair and Royal deep blue eyes appear. This man seemed exhausted considering the dark circles under his eyes and the unkempt facial hair that was growing on his face.
( Note: Yes, another one of my own characters that I've brought into my fanfics so in case you guys forgot what he looks like, he is on my character images on my profile! )
