( This is an abrupt scene change, sorry! )

It had been a week since Izumi agreed to meet the blond every single night, at the same time and place.

Along with this was the fact that it was constantly raining practically the entire week too, and with that Izumi was having to work harder than everyone else. It was clearly evident that the hidden greenette was getting tired and overworking herself since she was constantly out of breath and always soaking wet and never getting time to dry herself off properly.

"What's with that face?" She looked up at the blond and saw his harsh Ruby Red eyes.

"I-I'm fine... just working more." Izumi said, trying not to make herself look worse than she already is.

Katsuki knew something was off with the girl judging from her face, but she was still willing to meet him that night, and it kind of bothered him.

"Yah– Something's up with you, but you're not even gonna tell me?" he pointed out.

Just hearing his voice sound a bit annoyed and harsh hummed in her ears and made her head pound with exhaustion. She furrowed her brows but tried to keep her face from showing any exposure of exhaustion.

"What's there to tell when it's just something that I'm dealing with on my own?" she retorted, easily making the blond clench his teeth. But as much as he wanted to answer back with something that could be rude to say, she was right to say that it wasn't his business to know her personal matters.

"Hah~ Fine, you're right. But the second whatever this personal thing that you're going through gets bad–" he paused as he leaned his head towards her almost till his forehead was about to touch hers.

"You gotta tell me." he finished, somehow making the greenette's body heat up intensely that she wasn't sure if she could control the blush that was hitting her cheeks.

"A-And why exactly should it be you to be specific?" she mumbled with uncertainty. She slowly peeked her eyes up and made direct eye contact with him and watched as his lips turned into a subtle smirk.

"Heh– Because we're friends." he answered, easily causing her heart to jump in her chest without expecting it.

"I-I'm fine, s-so don't worry about me. I-It's getting late and I-I need to get back to working. H-Have a good rest of your night." she spoke nervously as she slightly pushed him away from her, made a quick bow and then ran off.

He wasn't anticipating for their meeting to end so short and abruptly, but that feeling of longing and desperation to want to know more about this greenette had intrigued him and his curiosity to the core.

The following morning, both Katsuki and Gin stood there in the courtyard side by side, watching all the other knights doing their training as they stood in the shade from the rain. Both of them seemed a bit... quiet recently.

All the knights had been curious why Katsuki was being quiet and would constantly go out and get fresh air at a certain hour, every night. While Gin... he's been having problems of his own, as it seems he hasn't been able to visit the Great Pisces because a certain someone prohibited him to, AKA Zeri.

'Damnit, why did Zeri have to say those things and make it sound like I'm the bad guy because I left the organization. And now she's forcing me to stay away from Shiro because I haven't seen her in so long. This sucks. If she wasn't so uptight and a big worrywart about Shiro, then this shit wouldn't happen.' Gin thought in frustration.
