Shangri La Pt. 1

16: Desire

Note: A good majority of this chapter doesn't revolve around Izumi, Katsuki, Shoto or Momo as we're going into what happened on Gin and Pisces/Shiro's side of the story. Yes these are my own characters, so you are more than welcome to skip this entire chapter if you want.

Izumi sat down on the floor after just saying her thanks to Katsuki for being her guard for the day. 

"Hah- it's unfortunate that all that work was just to go visit mom. I was planning on visiting Shinso too, but since he was with me, that was practically impossible. Arg- it didn't help that his friends came close to seeing us!" Izumi said, holding her head in her hands. 

"We barely even know each other and we're getting so close to one another already! Gah- it doesn't help that he's kissed me and saved my life and now I'm in his debt! But as long as he doesn't say anything about my background... it should be fine, right?" Izumi said to herself.

Izumi got a quick flashback of the two of them hiding underneath the bridge and how close their faces were to each other. 

"If one of us got any closer... we would've kissed- no! I shouldn't be thinking about stuff like that! My sole purpose in working here is just for mom and hopefully my abilities will come soon! Hah- why can't my healing abilities work yet, nothing seems to work no matter what I try. If only I didn't have to deliver that message then none of this would've happened, and I wouldn't have met... him..." 

Izumi was reminded of that spiky Ash Blond hair and those harsh but also sweet Ruby Red eyes. She quickly shook her head and then slapped her own cheeks to focus again. 

'Maybe I just need some sleep. I hope Pisces doesn't need anything from me.'

Pisces sat there and watched the lone White Lotus flower in the small pond. 

'I wish Zeri didn't have to be so hard on Gin, but then again it's only natural for her to act that way. I was happy to see him last night too... if only things didn't turn so complicated.' Pisces thought.

( Flashback )

Shortly after Pisces had seen and met the Prince, Katsuki and Gin, she was alone again in the Shrine, patiently waiting for something. 

'I looked at him, and he looked at me. I haven't seen those eyes in so long...' she thought remembering those Crimson Red eyes. 

'After everything that's happened, I'm sure he's still mad at me for leaving and doing something unexpected. If only he didn't leave the organization, none of this would've happened in the first place.' she thought, waving the fan in her face.

After sitting for a while, she was about to turn back into a fish just to relieve herself, but right when she was about to, she heard a voice. 

"Great Pisces, I need to speak to you." 

She looked up and saw a silhouette at the door and she instantly recognized the figure and it's voice. 

'That- that can't be-' She thought as she walked closer to the door. 

"If- If I can't see you, then I will just stand here and talk to you like is..." the voice said, it was Gin! Pisces stopped right in front of the door, she wanted to open that door desperately. 

"I knew it was you... the second I saw your eyes, and how soft and gentle your voice is... it had to be you. Am I right, Shiro?" Gin asked.

A tear streamed down her face, she hasn't cried in years, and the one person she's missed dearly is the one to cause her tears to appear.
