The second their dance finished, it was time for the pair to step away from each other, bow to one another and then–

"Let me dance with him!"

"No me!"

"Captain Bakugo~ Let me dance with you!!!" all the women screamed as they ambushed the blond when he'd least expected.

"Wha– Yah! No– Wait!"

As it continued for him to be swarmed by all these women, Katsuki just happened to look off in the distance and see Izumi still smiling at him.

"I'll wait for you." she mouthed as she then winked, turned away and started to leave the ballroom.

'Shit! Why me~~~~?!?!?!'

So after having been forced around the entire ballroom–forced to dance with every woman without saying no–Katsuki managed to finally catch his breath and adjust his suit.

'Phew~ Geez, why the hell did that King have to make me do all this?' he thought as he sighed.

But though it seemed quite chaotic as the event for the evening was still going, Katsuki figured that if this was the time for him to catch his breath, then this is also the very chance he should take to leave and head to the garden maze.

"I asked if you would like to meet me in the garden maze later tonight?" "I am more than happy to wait for you in the maze, as there is something I'd like to tell you."

Those very words the greenette told him just earlier that night rang in his ears and his heart started pumping with excitement again.

'Hah~ Right– Better take the chance now that I've got one to go find my–'

"Katsuki-kun~ Wait!!!"

Just as he was heading for the exit, Katsuki heard a very familiar–very annoying–voice cry out to him and stop him by grabbing him from behind. Katsuki didn't even have to look back as he already knew it was Camie holding him back, and she held onto him tightly.

"Yah– Let go of me."

"No! You still haven't danced with me~" Camie whined as she used all her might to keep him from pulling away from her.

"I said let go, I've got somewhere I need to be."

"No, you must stay here with me!"

"Why the hell should I stay here?"

"Because I love you, Katsuki-kun!!!"

'Oh geez~' he groaned in his head as he knew she probably had more to say.

"It's not fair... I've loved you since that day I met you when I started working here. Though you've pushed me away a few times, you never said you hated me. I was the one who's always waited for you when you returned from leaving the city. I care about you, and I love you, Katsuki-kun." Camie expressed as tears started to form up in the corners of her eyes.

But as much as her speech could've seemed emotional and content, Katsuki wasn't swayed for even a second as he slowly grabbed her hands and pulled them off of him. He turned around to see her lift her head to look at him, but he remained calm and serious with his expression.

"You waited for the wrong guy, cause I've never felt that way towards you."

"Ah–"

"Anyway, I've got somewhere I need to be, so I'm gonna act like this entire conversation didn't exist and–"
