Shangri La Pt. 1

13: Guilty Plea

The following morning arrived and Izumi was exhausted, as she couldn't get a wink of sleep since she kept thinking about the Captain of the Todoroki Knights and what he said. 

"I want to learn everything about you, so I want to meet you here at this same time, every single night." 

'How did this happen, the Captain of the Todoroki Knights wants to know more about me? And why me? There are plenty of other girls out there that are a lot more interesting than me, so what makes him think he has to pick me? Hah- this is getting frustrating, since I'm practically forced to meet this man that I know nothing about every single night. What made him think that would be a good idea?' Izumi thought, rubbing her eyes. 

Though the little greenette was tired, she couldn't ignore her daily duties and went to the Shrine first thing to see if her master was awake.

"I'm here as usual, Your Ladyship..." Izumi said, opening the door with her eyes shut as they felt like they were burning. 

She shut the door behind her, opened her eyes and the greenette froze when she saw the White haired woman was practically not wearing any clothes, as multiple robes were laying on the floor. 

What the greenette could clearly see was a large picture that was in black and white that took the shape of two Koi fish swimming around each other, representing Yin and Yang. 

Izumi watched as the woman slowly sat up and her long Moon White hair flowed over her back and shoulders.

"Y-Your Ladyship, are you okay?" Izumi asked. 

Pisces turned her head and saw the little greenette standing there with worry written on her face. 

"Izumi, I didn't hear you come in!" Pisces exclaimed. 

"I say the same thing I always do before I come in, Your Ladyship. Is there something wrong?" Izumi asked, taking a few steps towards the mystical being. 

Pisces looked down at herself and noticed how cold her bare back felt. 

"Ah- I'm assuming you're worried why I look like this, right? I'm sorry, sometimes my abilities cannot be controlled during certain times of the month or year. Most of the time my abilities can be a little tired or weak when the Moon isn't at it's Full potential. My back needed a bit of exposure after wearing so many layers of clothes, but I'm feeling alright." Pisces said.

Izumi collected all of the robes and pieces of clothing off the floor and noticed how some of the pieces of clothing didn't match like some of the others, but she shrugged it off and didn't think anything of it. 

The greenette placed all the clothes in a pile right by the door and grabbed some freshly cleaned robes and helped her master get dressed. 

"Did your hair get longer, Your Ladyship?" Izumi asked, noticing how her flowing Moon White hair was practically flowing past her hips. 

'I didn't think she would a Yin and Yang on her back, but then again it does make sense.' Izumi thought.

"It's natural for my hair to bloom this long, I think you would be a big help in cutting it later." Pisces said.

"Ah- about that- actually..." 

Izumi didn't know if it would be alright to talk about it. 

"Hmm, is something wrong, Izumi?" 

"N-Nothing's wrong! I just... it's been a month since I last got to see my mother." Izumi said, trying not to look at her master's Sapphire Blue eyes. Izumi felt guilty just asking if she could go into the city, but she really did want to see if her mother was doing okay.
