134: Unpredictable

As they approached the training grounds, Izumi felt like she needed to be high alert after everything that happened the previous night. 

"Hmph– No need to be all tensed up, Izumi." Yu noted, noticing it right away. 

"Ah– I-Is it obvious? It feels a lot different for me now compared to the first day I got here." 

"What's different? Oh– You must be talking about your obvious feelings for my brother~?" Yu teased. 

"I-Is that bad?" Izumi whined as she could only hide her face with embarrassment. 

"Hmph– You're doing just fine, you're not in trouble for loving my brother. Besides, the moment he sees you here, I'm sure he'll want to do more than just say hi." 

"D-Don't remind me, my chest feels all tight all of a sudden."

"Oh– Good morning, Miss Izumi! Miss Takeyama!" Both women turned around to see Awase following behind them. 

"Awase... Good morning." 

"Are you feeling alright, Miss Izumi? Me and all the other Knights didn't see you yesterday, so we were worried something bad happened?" Awase pointed out. Izumi batted her eyes as she turned to look over at the blonde and could see her smile and nod. 

"Ah– There's nothing wrong, at least not anymore." 

"Oh– Oh! Good! What a relief!" Awase cheered. And right before Awase could even try to hide it, Izumi happened to see something the Knight was holding behind his back. 

"Hm? What is that?"

"Huh? Oh this?" Awase questioned as he revealed what he was holding to be some kind of bottle with a dark colored liquid inside.

"More like what's inside of it?" Yu noted. 

"Ah– Well~" 

Awase paused as he had to remember what a certain dirty blonde told him to say if he was ever asked about this bottle before giving it to the Captain. 

"While I was on my way here, I passed the doctor's chambers and he asked that I give this to the Captain. He never specified what exactly it was though." Awase answered. 

"Hm? The doctor did? Then it's probably some potion to give Katsuki some energy for the trip you and him are going on later today." Yu suggested. 

"Ah– Maybe." 

"What? Miss Izumi, you and Captain are leaving today?" 

"Mn. I must return back, as I've been for a little too long." 

"Aw~ But it was so nice to have someone like you here, especially since you're the only one that can make our Captain turn soft on us." 

"Soft?"

"Ahaha! Anyway, I should give this to the Captain before it's too late!" 

"W-Wait!" 

Just when Awase was about to leave the women behind, he stopped and turned back. 

"Eh? Yes?" 

"Is there something wrong, Izumi?" 

"No no, it's just... w-why don't I give it to Katsuki?" Izumi offered. Both Awase and Yu were a bit startled, they didn't expect the greenette to be this brave. 

"Izumi, are you sure? I don't think you've really seen my brother when he's in... Captain mode." 

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll turn... soft when he sees me, so why don't I give it to him? It'll be easier for me to do it than you, Awase, n-no offense!"
