Right when Katsuki had left with Izumi to head into the city, the Prince appeared in the training grounds and everyone quickly lined up.
A large portion of the knights noticed how their blond Captain wasn't in sight, as there was an empty space on the line between Kirishima and Gin.
"I hope all of you have rested well from the traveling, but that doesn't mean any of you are to slack off on training." Shoto said.
'Why'd he have to leave now? I understand he likes the girl, but that doesn't mean he needs to leave us behind.' Gin thought.
Shoto turned his head and saw the empty space where his Captain was supposed to be and he raised an eyebrow.
"Any reason why I don't see Bakugo?" Shoto asked. The other knights froze, because they had no excuse as to his attendance being missing.
'Crap, if Bakugo isn't here, then we'll be punished.' Kaminari thought.
'Where could he have gone, he was just here a second ago.' Sero thought.
'Bakugo's never absent unless it's something important, and he would've told us where he was by now.' Kirishima thought.
Gin looked in the corner of his eye and could tell all of the knights were not prepared for a punishment for their missing Captain.
"Hah- he went out." Gin exclaimed. All the knights, as well as the Prince, looked at the Silver haired man.
"My Captain... went out? Why?" Shoto said in a cold tone.
Gin tried to think of a good excuse, he could feel all the worries of his colleagues on his shoulders. Judging from how Katsuki suddenly left and didn't appear again meant he surely went somewhere, and Gin had a light bulb moment
"Erm- he said he wanted to get a good look around the city. He's been to the East several times, but this is his first time in this city. He told me before he left about it and wasn't sure when he was going to return." Gin said as he felt a drop of sweat drip off his chin.
Shoto stared at Gin, he could tell how serious he was after looking into his Crimson Red eyes.
"Any reason why he didn't tell me where he was going?"
"He thought that since you weren't used to the atmosphere, he thought you would want some rest. That's why he told me and asked me to report it to you if asked about it." Gin said.
The other knights were surprised, they knew Gin was always the kind of guy to stand up for someone else, and that meant the Captain too.
People in the Todoroki Kingdom always thought Gin was the more suitable Captain than Gin not just because Gin is 4 years older than Katsuki, but because he seemed to have great battle strategies and a few other things.
But he refused the offer of being Captain since he always thought Katsuki was the smarter and more powerful of the two.
Gin was used to standing up for others, and though he hadn't known Katsuki that long, he trusted him.
"I see, it can't be helped since we arrived late yesterday that none of you got the chance to see the city. It would be unfair for just the Captain to look around the city though." Shoto thought, resting his thumb under his chin.
The knights looked around at each other, not really sure if they were hearing their Prince correctly.
"What do you wish for them, Your Majesty?" Iida asked. Shoto nodded his head after thinking about it and looked up at his men.
