Her Reign

Chapter 8

JAXSON

I watched those two go down to their knees, screaming in pain and I knew Alessia had done it. The little girl was on the ground gasping for air while her mother quickly crawled to her, holding her. They were both crying.

When our warriors reached them, I ordered one of the pack warriors to take them to the pack house and put them with the others. I also told the warrior to get the doctor to have him check the little girl out just to make sure she was ok.

As soon as they left, several other warriors from Blood Moon came into view. They were in their wolf form, ready to attack. They came from different directions trying to throw us off.

Right before they reached us, they went down to the ground screaming like the other two had.

The pack warriors weren't sure what was going on. They had never seen Alessia in action before. They kept looking around for other threats but kept glancing back at her.

"ALPHA BULLOCK, I WILL CONTINUE TO DROP EVERY ONE OF YOUR WARRIORS IF YOU DON'T STOP THIS ATTACK! STAND DOWN!" Alessia's voice boomed through the woods.

We were met with silence. He didn't respond but you could faintly hear them moving around. Our warriors got into a large circle around us, scanning the area.

There were lots of trees, fallen trees and bushes making it hard to see. I knew they were out there, and they were close, but it was getting dark. Even with our night vision, it was hard to see.

Suddenly, wolves came running from every direction. They ran as fast as they could. Most of our warriors were already shifted but those that weren't, shifted as they made contact with our outer circle.

The air was filled with the smell of blood. Growls were heard all around us. I looked over at Alessia and she stood there, with her eyes closed.

Seconds later, all the Blood Moon warriors dropped to the ground instantly shifting back to human form, screaming in pain. A few of our warriors that were currently battling them, got one final bite before releasing them.

The sound of hundreds of men screaming, echoing through the woods and seeing naked men curled up in a fetal position, holding their heads was haunting.

'Alessia, are you ok?' I mind linked her.

Having to control that many people, it took a lot of strength. She stood there and closed her eyes which almost sent me into a panic.

'I'm fine. I'm just a little tired but I'm ok.' She responded back.

"Where is Alpha Bullock?" I asked.

Everyone started searching through the men on the ground, nobody could find him. Where the hell was he? I know damn well he didn't leave his men to Alessia's wrath and run.

As I was walking back towards Alessia, I heard a pained moan in the bushes. I walked around and there laid Bullock. I could only shake my head.

I mind linked Alessia and told her that I had him.

Seconds later, the screaming stopped. Everyone laid on the ground, panting trying to catch their breath. Alessia must have stopped whatever she was doing to them.

"Everyone needs to stay on the ground, I can easily bring the pain back if you try to move." Alessia commanded.

I grabbed Bullock by the arm and led him over to his men. Once I let go of his arm, he collapsed on the ground. He's an alpha so he was able to take more pain then his men, but it doesn't mean that it didn't hurt.

"I command that you tell me the truth. Now, who here respects your alpha's decisions? Do you think your alpha was right for what he did today? Raise your hand if your answer is No. You don't have to worry about being punished for your answer because I will protect you." She said.

We looked around and saw most of the warriors with their hands up. It was a shame. A pack is nothing without their alpha. He is supposed to be one who puts his pack before all. He's supposed to protect them. As much respect his pack gives him, he should return it. He's a disgrace.

"Those of you with your hands up, you may leave now. Return to your pack and stay there. Those of you that didn't raise your hand, stay where you are." She commanded.

They got up and headed in the direction of their pack. Once they were all far enough away, all eyes were on those who were left sitting there. I'd say there were about 20 including the two that terrorized that mother and little girl.

"Take them to the cells." I ordered.

Once everyone was out of sight, I walked over and scooped Alessia up in my arms bridal style. She wrapped her arm around my neck and laid her head on my chest. I walked back to the pack house, where I was met by Lucas and Jessica.

"Is she ok?" Jessica asked. I nodded.

"I needed her to be close to me right now. She is fine but will you send for the doctor. She used a lot of power and I want to make sure she is ok.'' I said. She nodded and walked off with Lucas right behind her.

I walked upstairs to our room and laid her down on the bed. I took her shoes off and helped her out of her clothes.

"Do you want to take a shower?" I asked and she nodded.

I picked her up and brought her into the bathroom. I sat her down on the counter before turning to the shower. I opened the door and leaned in, turning the water on. She likes it hot. Not too hot but it's up there. As the water was warming up, I took my clothes off. I picked her back up with her legs wrapped around my waist. Her stomach isn't that big, so she is still able to wrap her arms around my neck. I walked into the shower, allowing the water to run from the top of her head down her body.

Once she was completely wet, I sat her down on the bench at the back of the shower. I grabbed the washcloth and poured soap on it. I thoroughly cleaned everywhere. Then I reached for the shampoo and washed her hair.

Picking her back up, I let the water rinse her body. Then sat her back down and put conditioner in her hair. While she was sitting down, I cleaned myself.

I picked her up and wrapped her legs around my waist rinsing out her hair again. I held her tight while placing small kisses on her neck. I just need to be close to her right now and she knows it. When those warriors attacked, my heart dropped with her being just feet away. I know she can defend herself but, in her condition, I would never want her to have to fight for her life.

When we got out of the shower, I grabbed the towel and dried her off. I picked her up again and walked into the bedroom and placed her on the bed. I picked out my black tee shirt and put it on her. I laid her in bed and pulled the covers over her then put boxers on myself then went to the other side of the bed. I climbed in and pulled her towards my chest. She fell asleep instantly.

I had my hand over her stomach and right when I was about to fall asleep, I felt my baby kick.
