-Just a reminder that y'all can request one shots. They will be closed for the month of October as I'm doing a halloween themed month but we've got time to knock some out!-
It was late one morning when Chris found himself sitting in a cafe, keeping his eyes on a specific young girl. Wait.. That sounded creepy. It was his girl and he was there for a reason.
He tried to make it look like he was busy on his phone as he sipped on his coffee and kept her in his sights.
Nothing had been very interesting, she was pretty quiet as she did her job helping customers and making drinks. That was untill a middle aged man in a button up went behind the counter. He greeted all the employees as he headed to the back.
Chris's jaw tightened and he quickly forgot about his phone as he only paid attention to his girl. She looked uncomfortable and nervous and all Chris wanted to do was go comfort her. But he knew he couldn't.. Not now.
When the man returned to the front he made a couple of comments to some of the others, mostly about how their morning had been.
"And how's my girl doing?" The man asked as he put a hand on her shoulder, the other going to her back. Chris gritted his teeth. My fucking girl. He growled to himself. And if he didn't get his hands off of Chris's girl he was going to be regretting it very soon.
"Uh f-fine. I'm fine."
"Yeah you are baby, you're damn fine alright." His hand started to slowly creep lower on her back and Chris was quick to get up. He didn't need to see anything else. Luckily his table was near the counter so in seconds he was standing at the register.
"Don't you think that's a little... Not work appropriate?" Chris asked the guy after clearing his throat. The guy was quick to laugh it off as the girl moved to the register, closer to Chris.
"It's hard to seperate work from home sometimes I suppose. My apologies, she's my girlfriend." Chris almost choked on air at the lies. His girlfriend?! How many others had he told that to?
"Oh yeah?" He kept up a good facade.
"Of over two years now." The man nodded as his hands went to the girls waist. She stiffened as he pressed his front against her back and the tears in her eyes sent Chris over the edge. No one was messing with his girl and getting away with it.
"Yeah? Then why.. Tell me why-" he started, slamming his hands down on the counter and leaning over it. "-does she sleep in my bed every night, live at my house and make love to me?" Chris growled through his teeth. The man's smirk quickly fell and Chris grinned. "Yeah I'm Chris, I'm the boyfriend she's told you about time and time again but you think you can just harass your employees." The man's hands slowly fell from the females waist as his face became angry.
"Come here Lex." Chris growled, but the girl knew she wasn't the one he was mad at.
"You move and your fired." The man behind the counter threatened, pointing a finger in her face.
"Then fire her! She doesn't need this damn job! For god sakes her car costs more than you'll ever make in your lifetime!" Chris yelled at the man. How dare someone threaten his girl. "Come on angel, come here." Chris's tone was softer with her, her face already red from the embarassment this scene was causing her and the tears that were streaming down her face from the anxiety and discomfort this was putting her through.
As she quickly made her way to Chris the man continued to spew threats at her.
"This'll be the last job you ever find, I'll make sure of it!"
"Good! She doesn't need to work anyways! Especially not for pricks like you! And don't you worry, this will be reported. So you might as well kiss this job goodbye!" Chris threw his arms around the small girl the second she reached him and he held her close, comforting her from the situation.
"We'll see about that."
"Fuck you." Chris spat as he quickly walked his girl out of the building, his arm thrown around her shoulders.
He took her to his Audi quickly as he unlocked it and opened the door for her. As she let herself fall into the seat he crouched down infront of her, taking one of her hands in his and using the other to wipe her tears. Her body trembled as the tears kept coming.
"It's okay baby, it's all over. I promise you no one will ever treat you like that again. Ive got you pretty girl." He soothed her. God she was so embarassed and uncomforable. Chris wanted nothing more than to murder that man with his bare hands. No one messed with his girl. And no one put their hands on her especially.
"Listen to me baby... You're not coming back here, you'll never see these people ever again. You're going to have everything you've ever wanted and more, you'll be comfortable and you don't have to worry about a damn thing. Alright?"
He had tried to get her to quit her job time and time again anyways. He could take care of her and prefered things to be that way anyways.
He talked to her untill she had calmed down before finally standing up.
"Now come on baby. Get your car and let's go home. Okay?" She nodded her head as she took his hand and he pulled her to her feet. "Be careful, alright? I'll see you at home. I love you princess." He gave her a kiss before she headed towards her BMW. He watched her as she got into it and started it up before he finally shut the passanger side door of his own vehicle and went around to get into the drivers seat.
She had it good.. With or without that job. And she was Chris's spoiled little brat. She never asked for that $250,000 car. She never had to ask for anything, Chris gave her the whole world and more on his own accord. But she deserved it and Chris wouldn't have it any other way.
