"You were suppose to be there for her, what happened to that huh?!" Ricky yelled at the other man.

"Yeah well... Things change." It wasn't that Ryan didn't feel bad but... The timing was just off and it was complicated anyways. Too complicated for him. "She'll be okay, Ricky."

"She'll be okay? She'll be okay?! You asshole you just fucking broke her heart and all you can say is that she'll be okay?!" Ryan's mouth opened to reply but Ricky continued. "Of course she'll fucking be okay, she's tough Ryan. But that doesnt make it okay... You know what? Just stay the hell away from her. We'll all deal with the mess that you fucking created. We don't need you." Ricky stormed out of Ryan's house, leaving him standing in his kitchen speechless. He felt bad but there was nothing he could do. What was done was done.

Ricky quickly sped away in his black Audi and headed straight to his best friend's house. When he parked in the drive way he dialed his number into his phone.

"Hey what's up?" Chris answered.

"I'm infront of your house, we're going to Ari's. Come out here."

"Is she still..?" He trailed off.

"Yeah. She's a mess.. But I've got M&Ms in here for her and she's got netflix and us."

"That's like the new version of icecream and dumb movies?"

"Basically." When Ricky saw Chris come outside and towards the car he hung up.

"You know.. It was a bad idea from the start." Chris spoke after he had gotten in and they headed down the road.

"What was so bad about it? He liked her and she really liked him.. I didn't know things were going to get fucked up."

"Obviously the dudes my brother, but if we're being honest his last relationship was a mess and it wasnt that long ago. Besides that there was also the situation between you and her... I didn't see it going well honestly but I didnt want to rain on anyones parade."

"What situation between her and I?" That part stood out to Ricky and he was confused.

"The way you guys are with each other. If I was a dude trying to pursue her it would definitly turn me away. I can only imagine how Ryan felt about it."

"We're close. I cant help that!" Ricky exclaimed. "We have been for years but everyone knows there's nothing between us. For gods sake Ive got Jamie."

"I'm just saying." Chris shrugged. The drive wasnt long and they eventually pulled up to her apartment.

After knocking and trying the door, they let themselves in when they found it was unlocked.

"Ari!" Ricky called through the hall. The first place he checked was her room and he was right. She was curled up in her bed, the TV played quietly but her back was turned towards it as she buried herself in pillows and blankets. "Hey.. How you feeling Ri?"

"Just wonderful." She spoke quietly, sarcasm dripping off her words. Ricky sat down next to her and rubbed her back.

"I'm sorry.. But we're here to make it better and I'm not leaving till we get a smile on that face." He insisted. Chris stood off to the side quietly.
