Lily was nervous she got dressed and grabbed her wand before standing by her fire place

"Potter manor" in a flash of green she was in the drawing room of very homey manor

"Oh!" A older looking woman stood in front of her she had graying hair but bright hazel but unlike James had a hint of blue in them

"I-

"Lily Evans??"

"Um..yes ma'am"

"Oh! Hello love I'm Euphemia please call me Mia" she said and hugged Lily

"Uh-hi" Lily mumbled hugging the woman back

"Mum! Where do- Oh Hello Evans!"

The pair pulled apart to see James carrying a box which he put down and walked across the room to Lily

"Oh Jamie you didn't tell me she was this pretty!! Look at those eyes! Exquisite"

Lily was sure her face matched her hair has she buried her face into James shoulder making Euphemia giggle

"She is isn't she and they are very" James said and kissed her head

"Oh C'mon on in dear please"

"MIA!! HOW AM I MEANT TO SEE WHERE I'M GOING IF YOU STACK EM BOXES IN TENS!!" a voice said from the next room and was followed by a trud and a yelp

"Oh Monty! Get down here!! Lily's here"

"WHO!?"

"Lily Evans hun"

"Oh James obsession!"

"DAD!"

Fleamont walked down the stairs and Lily finally saw his face , he looked kind the same eyes has James his hair sticking up in different directions

"Oh it's nice to finally have a face to the name" Fleamont said making James groan

"It's nice to meet you Mr Potter" Lily said holding her hand out

"Oh! Call me Monty....." Fleamont said shaking her hand

"You have to excuse the mess we were just getting some things sorted out" Euphemia said as they walked into what Lily assumed was the living room

"Sit down dea-

"I'M HOM- FUCK MCKINNON!!"

"YOUR THE ONE WHO STOOD BEHIND THE DOOR!!"

"WELL I DIDN'T EXPECT TO BE BANGED OPEN!!"

"CHILDREN! CAN WE NOT!"

"Stupid anyway"

Footsteps were heard and a cheery Marlene came into the room

"LILY!!!" Marlene screeched and hugged her

"Hello Marls!!"

The pair pulled apart as Sirius, Remus and Docras walked into the room

"Food!!" Sirius yelled and headed for the treats Euphemia had laid out on the table

"Hello everyone" Docras said hugging Mia before sitting down

"Oh! Remus my dear you look like you haven't eaten for days my love!! Sit- Sirius stop scuffing the brownies down"

"It's now or never Effie!! Marlene's distracted" Sirius mumbled with a mouth full of brownies while still trying to stuff another one in

"Not anymore!" Marlene said tossing herself over Sirius' lap grabbing the brownie from his hand

"Excuse the chaos" Monty said as he sat down next to Lily

"Do you play Quittich Lily??"

The evening at ended and James had insisted he'd take Lily home

They apparated a street down from Lily's house and walked hand and hand

"Your parents are nice people" Lily said with a smile

"Too nice sometimes" James said sheepishly

"Nonsense they were lovely"

"Speaking of parents I got you mum something and I was wondering if I could give it to her??" James asked sheepishly as they stood at the front door

"Sure come in....should probably get you a key" Lily mumbled

"Mum!"

Marie Evans stood at the top of the stairs

"Lily??"

"Yeah it's me"

"I'm gonna go have a wee" Lily said as her mother came downstairs

When Lily returned she found James and her mother in a conversation and by the looks of it a hearty one

"Oh stop!" Marie said playfully smacking James arm

"Oh! Lily he's a real charmer this boy"

"I know"

New years had rolled by and Lily found herself leaving the Potter's once again

James walked her back as usual only this time when they apparated onto the street there was a rather eerie feeling to it

As they got closer to the house , Lily was greeted by her frantic neighbor

"Mr Butch?? What's wrong??"

"Oh Lily!! I don't know what happened they came out of no where there was this light!!"

James held Lily's hand tighter as he looked up at the sky

They were here
