SAPNAP POV -

We were allowed one week off school.

The day after we got engaged, we knew we had to tell Karl's mom. It was safe to say that none of us were looking forward to that conversation.

I woke up with my arm around a sleeping Quackity. I looked up and saw Karl scrolling through his phone on the other side of him,
"Morning pretty boy," I mumbled, making Karl look up in surprise, blushing,
"Hi," He smiled softly, leaning over our sleeping boyfriend and planting a soft kiss on my lips. I grinned at him, catching sight of the ring on his finger, memories of last night coming back to me.

"How are you this morning my beautiful fiancé?" I murmured, taking Karl's hand and making him blush even more.
"I'm amazing, you?" He breathed, his eyes scanning my face, his face lit up with happiness. I was about to respond when I was interrupted by Quackity,

"I'm great!" He grinned at us both and we all giggled.

"Guys, we should probably tell my mom about us today," Karl said after a moment of silence, voicing what we were all thinking. I nodded slowly, wishing that we could just stay here in blissful happiness, just the three of us together. But alas, we had to get up at some point and sadly that moment came when Karl's mom called out to us, announcing that breakfast was almost ready.

We all got out of bed slowly and reluctantly, taking as long as possible. We all got dressed, moving at the pace of snails. All too soon, we were ready. I fiddled with the ring on my finger as we made our way down the stairs, not knowing how Karl's mom was going to react.

"Mom?" Karl asked as we entered the kitchen, holding each other's hands for support. Karl's mom looked up at us, smiling.
"Yeah?" She handed us three plates as we sat down at the kitchen bench, surveying all of our outfits.

"We kinda wanted to tell you something," Quackity said, squeezing my hand comfortingly. To our surprise, Karl's mom rolled her eyes and smiled.
"You're engaged?" She guessed, laughing at the shocked looks on our faces. We all nodded, confused.
"How did you know?" I asked, making her laugh even more.

"Well for one you're all wearing rings on your ring fingers. And also you guys weren't exactly quiet last night when you were giggling and whispering very loud proposals," She said this as if it was extremely obvious, making us even more shocked. We didn't know what to say but Mrs Jacobs continued, "Congrats by the way, I'm glad I'm getting two lovely son in laws that make my son happy. All I have to say is, use protection boys,"

Quackity, Mrs Jacobs and I all burst out laughing as Karl went red with embarrassment.
"Mom!" He cried, clearly mortified. His mom shook her head, still chuckling.
"Right boys," She said, changing the subject, "I want you to go and have a celebratory lunch. I've got the electrician coming because I broke the fridge so I need you out of the house, you're so loud and distracting. Also you just got engaged! You deserve a celebration!" She handed us a $100 note, grinning.

We thanked her profusely as she ushered us out of the house, handing Quackity the keys to her car. We piled into the front seats, Quackity sitting in the drivers seat and Karl, after pointing out how unsafe it was, sitting in my lap.
"Well would you rather sit in the back by yourself?" I asked Karl as he grumbled more complaints about how unsafe our position. He shook he head resting his head on my chest, making me smile. "That's what I thought nimrod," I grinned, ruffling his soft brown hair.
